3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Hazy amber body, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, biscuits, grains and hints of toffee. Taste is caramel, raisin, sherry, herbs, hints of grains. Medium body and carbonation. Nice, but this has been an APA....? :-P The BB date is way expired on this one, and the oxidation actually appears to have slowly transformed this beer from and APA to a sort of English Strong Ale. Fascinating. Congrats Jeppe, you’ve made two beers in one! :-D

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from CBX. Cloudy orange pour with a fluffy off white head. Spicy hop aroma with hints of citrus. Sweet caramel presence along with bready malt and a hint of fresh dough. Bits of grapefruit and other citrus fruit are there but muddled. Flavors were light citrus, lingering caramel, spicy hops with a light bittersweet finish. Moderate carbonation with a slightly thin mouthfeel. Hard to find anything interesting in this one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle 500ml at home. Pours clear oragne with a small white foam. Spicy aroma, with some herbal essence. Light body with a squared bitterness, some smokiness in the end and touch of sourness in the end. Taste reminds me of bergamot and tea flavours. Typical Mikkeller taste, thirteen in a dozen alike...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle shared by ArgoO at a DC tasting at Gene’s. Unfiltered amber-tan, with a foamy head. More of an English Barleywine than an APA, not to style. Still an enjoyable, quality beverage.
