COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Usandsynlig tyktflydende, forførende mørk og smoking good.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, peated malt, humle, gær.
English Language Label: Amazingly rich, seductively dark and smoking good. Yes a real heartbreaker. We recommend only the truly skillful, heavyweight beer champions to battle this awfully addictive and overpowering smoked Stout. Be careful because this is the real deal with a minor Placebo effect. Makes invalids out of supermen.

In bottle, thanks Ben! Pours a very dark brown colour with a decent tan head. Aroma of smoke, roasty malt, chocolate and alcohol. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Lovely!

Bottle. Pitch black beer with a very strong foamy dark brown head. The aroma is quite bitter and roasted, and the flavour is more so roasted and bitter with a fortified malty’ness. Overall a nice strongly flavoured roasted and bitter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Dark, no, Black with a nice creamy head. The smokiness is strong in this one. Roasted cereals come to mind. As others have said, it is delicious but quite a challenge to drink more than one. Definitely a beer you have to nurse for a fair amount of time.

Wow. Smells heavenly - a little bit like old cigarettes and a little salty bacon. Tastes very roasty and slightly sour twinge, but not like normal sour. Just more like a lactic acid and cherry juice. Very delicious. Not worth the price, but still very good. i’d drink this all the time. If i could afford it...

bottle from superdave 12/18/11. thin looking stouty black color with a creamy orange head. smells like lebanon bologna, soured milk, metal and vinous fruit. the flavor is the same but way too sweet and not nearly smoky enough. it has a defined sourness as well. mouth feel is too thick. meh.
