COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Usandsynlig tyktflydende, forførende mørk og smoking good.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, peated malt, humle, gær.
English Language Label: Amazingly rich, seductively dark and smoking good. Yes a real heartbreaker. We recommend only the truly skillful, heavyweight beer champions to battle this awfully addictive and overpowering smoked Stout. Be careful because this is the real deal with a minor Placebo effect. Makes invalids out of supermen.

Bottle. Black, small top. Roasty nose, really roasty with black patent, slight herby hops. Body is lightish and easy. Dunno where the abv’s hidden. Some chocolate, milky such. lean nice mouthfeel. Nice drink. Really roasty, but light, lean.

Flaska från Khioskh, Cph. Svart öl med brunt skum. Doften är rostad med lakrits, mörk choklad och blöt aska. De rostade tonerna av malt och kaffe är de mest framträdande de rökta, askiga tonerna kompletterar. Riktigt god.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a large mocha colored head. Aroma is of, well, smoke. Flavor is sweet and slightly bitter with a smoky aftertaste that lingers in the mouth. Body is thick. This is a high gravity beer and the alcohol is well hidden. This ranks among the best smoked beers I have tried, including ...uh....

Bottle pours dark, small cream head. Big smokey nose, chocolate. Taste follows with dark chocolate upfront, some espresso. The smoke foundation is from first sip into the after taste. Medium body, well done.

Bottle thanks to czar, thanks bro! Pours a really dark brown with a small brown head that leaves good lacing. Nose is fun with some good smoke, coffee, bar room. Taste is not an ounce to sweet and even feels dry to some extent, some alcoholic wonders maybe? Flavors are smoky of course but also offer some slight meaty angles and plenty of coffee. All the roasted malt also give some licorice impressions. Body is full, almost stout-ish, carbonation medium. Overall this was really good, a nice smoky treat!

Expectation: sky high, because I love smoked beers as well as porters and Evil Twin seems to make solid brews
Hardware: 12oz bottle (made on 1/3/14) into Le Guinness
Nose: good ole smoke
Sip: toast, roast and caramel
Taste: muddled
Misc: weak boby, but no booze bite
Conclusion: disappointed. downhill after the first sip.

Black pour, small brown head. Aroma is coffee and smoke. Where am I, a cafe? Flavor is roasty, smoky and sweet with notes of chocolate, coffee and cream. Delicious, medium bodied.

Color negro con espuma beige. Aromas ahumados, frutos Rojos y café. Cuerpo medio con inicio dulce y afrutado al que sigue el toque ahumado y el final amargo, seco y tostado. Muy rica.

Tap (Birofilia2014, Zywiec)
Stinky. Watery. Black. Sticky flat palate. Sweet. A dark roast, but thin. Nope, sub-par rauch and a sub-par stout.
