4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2011 14th September 2011
On tap at the Craft Beer. Opaque black beer, short lived tan head. Light crispish palate (especially for a big beer). Minerals. Good rich dark malts which are free of bitterness and roast. A little dark chocolate. Nice sherbetty fruit salad things going on. Just a tiny bit of smoke. Minerally finish. Nice and not the smoke bomb I was expecting. Original rating 3.7.

Bottle. Opaque black beer, decent tan head. Softish palate, dry with some fine crispy carbonation livens this up. Tangy dark malt, notably and pleasantly fruity. Creamy malt. Well judged smoke. Minerals. Semi dry finish with more vibrant dried fruits. Delicious! I’ve not had a better smoked beer.

With Zach, pours a dark pitch black pour with a large foamy java colored head. Nose is deep smoke and damp wood chips. Taste is massively smokey, malty and dank. Finish is smokey as well, and long. Nopt for everyone ! Quaff Score 7 / 10

This "Smoked Porter" pours a dark, dark brown with a dark brown head dissipating quickly with a bit of stickiness.
You can smell the alcohol esters and toasty-roasty notes of slight caramelized meats.
On the way in you get more smoke and nice dark porter flavors while on the way down you get more alcohol and a nice long finish.
I like this beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma is thin and has some pil and smokeyness. Taste is slick and sweet, with some meatiness and smoked malts. Palate is thin though not very drinkable. Overall an okay beer, one of the better smoked beers I’ve tried.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer smells great with a smokey meat smell that i can’t quite describe. The tast doesn’t quite live up to the smell. A nice beer with out being amazing. I still rate it though

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Nose is sweet woody smoke, vanilla, ciggs, touch of cherry. Taste is cherry, vanilla, smoke, sweet cola, emerging chocolate with a dry finish. The smoke is not as pronounced as the nose.
Mouthfeel is far too carbonated.
A very nice smoked porter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice subtle smoked beer. Dark brown pour. Campfire, chocolate, coffee aroma. Taste is just slightly smoky, with some licorice, sweetness, and bitterness to complement. Fairly drinkable for a smoked beer.

W smaku mamy czekoladę, kawę i paloność, niedużą ilość nut wędzonych.
