COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On a pilgrimage for immortal craft beer we tripped on these heavenly drops of amazingly overwhelming aromas, a thick fudge-like body, pitch black color and obviously only made in limited amount. And then the taste....even more jesus! Produced and bottled by Evil Twin Brewing at Companyia Cervesera del Montseny SLL. Catalunya, Spain.

From tap at Luksus, NYC. Pours a pitch black with a small, tan head. Aroma has coffee, smoke, waffers, bisquits, roasted malts, chocolate, vanillla. Taste is roasty, sweet, more licorish than the aroma, smoky, salty. Low carbonation and a full body.

330 ml. bottle. Pours a medium. poorly retained, beige head, over a dark brown (SRM 30) body......nose is heavy roasted malts, with chocolate, milder coffee, dried fruits with plum, raisin, mild herbal hops, balance to the malts......taste is moderately sweet, with brown sugar tones, hints of molasses, dried fruits with plum raisin dominating, becoming drier, with light umami notes, mild herbal hops with mild bitterness, balance heavily to the malts.....mouth feel, heavy chewy, sticky body, light alcohol warmth, low carbonation. This is rich, thick, sweet, heavy Imperial Stout, with the alcohol at 12%, remarkably quite hidden by the heavy malts. I wonder how this would be aged in a Bourbon barrel. BJCP 8/3/16/4/8

12 ounces bottle from Winooski Beverage Warehouse shared with brother, thanks for the share. Aroma: Smokey, ashes, roasted malt, light coffee, alcohol. App: black, small to minimal brown head, little lacing. Taste and palate: full body, creamy, strong coffee, dry and roasted finish. Overall: really good. Really really like the mouthfeel... until this smokiness comes into play, at least it’s a bit too much for my linking but the mouthfeel is still pretty good. Appreciated all sip of the beer. Glad this is offered in this size as well. Hate bigger bottles, unless we’re lots of people on it. Great beer!

Draught @ Stag’s Head, Inky black with small frothy tan head, mocha aroma with berries, low cvarbonation, bitter chocolate taste with strong alcohol undertones, thin body, long bitter chocolate finish with alcohol aftertaste. The strong alcohol content is difficult to mask, and leaves a taste in your mouth, but still a good brew.

Not as good as Even More Jesus, but still outstanding. Pours completely black with no foam, and the aroma is bitter chocolate, chicory, coffee, burnt malts. The flavor is the same, but a little muted compared to EMJ. A little alcohol on the finish.

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a head of brown colored bubbles that were fully diminished and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque black brown colored body and no lacing. The weak aroma was dark malt. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering mild roasted malt aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of roasted malt vinous and dark malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.
