On a pilgrimage for immortal craft beer we tripped on these heavenly drops of amazingly overwhelming aromas, a thick fudge-like body, pitch black color and obviously only made in limited amount. And then the taste....even more jesus! Produced and bottled by Evil Twin Brewing at Companyia Cervesera del Montseny SLL. Catalunya, Spain.

Draught @ Stag’s Head, Inky black with small frothy tan head, mocha aroma with berries, low cvarbonation, bitter chocolate taste with strong alcohol undertones, thin body, long bitter chocolate finish with alcohol aftertaste. The strong alcohol content is difficult to mask, and leaves a taste in your mouth, but still a good brew.

Not as good as Even More Jesus, but still outstanding. Pours completely black with no foam, and the aroma is bitter chocolate, chicory, coffee, burnt malts. The flavor is the same, but a little muted compared to EMJ. A little alcohol on the finish.

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a head of brown colored bubbles that were fully diminished and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque black brown colored body and no lacing. The weak aroma was dark malt. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering mild roasted malt aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of roasted malt vinous and dark malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Aroma has licorice, mocha coffee and alcohol. Also some licorice. Flavour has licorice, mocha and some hoppiness in the finish. Feels somewhat sticky. Good, although finishing a whole bottle would be a challenge.

Pours black color with a large beige head. Sweet caramel-syrupy aroma, some malts and wood with faint wood. Ashy flavor, some dark roasted malts, cocoa and coffee with mild caramel and subtle chocolate, coffee is quite faint. Disappointing.

330 ml bottle. Pours a pitch black colour with a beige head. Aroma of dark rich roastiness, wet earth, licorice and some chocolate. Flavour of dark roastiness, floral hops, heavy salty licorice, chocolate, wet earth and some caramel sweetness. Full bodied. Oily mouthfeel. Heavy. Super rich and a very nice finish to this tasting.
