COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On a pilgrimage for immortal craft beer we tripped on these heavenly drops of amazingly overwhelming aromas, a thick fudge-like body, pitch black color and obviously only made in limited amount. And then the taste....even more jesus! Produced and bottled by Evil Twin Brewing at Companyia Cervesera del Montseny SLL. Catalunya, Spain.

Bottle. Pour is viscous black with a small light brown head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, roasted malt with hints of cocoa, junipr, coffee, and light pine hop. Flavor is coffee roasted malt up front with a light nuttiness along with an interesting thai-spice note. Also notes of roasted malt and a deep fruitiness. Not a boring beer. The Thai-like spice in the middle is strange and i cannot put my finger on it. Sometimes it’s there; other times it’s gone. Big beer.

Bottle (330 ml). From dresden, thanks! Pitch black with a medium diminishing beige head and no lacing. Aroma is of chocolate/fudge, roasted malt, fruity notes (red fruits, figs, plum), marshmallow and light alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet (not cloying) with a loads of fudge/chocolate, fruits, marshmallow, light molasses and light alcohol. Full bodied. Moderate carbonation. Thick. Very complex. Good balance. Really fudgy. Another success from the Evil Twin "Jesus" series.

11.2 oz. bottle. 11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a viscous black color with a medium plus sized reddish tan head that lasts with very spotty lacing. The aroma is big roasted malts, chocolate fudge, dark fruits, coffee, molasses with some alcohol at the edges. The flavor is big roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, molasses, dark fruits (cherry , blueberry, raisin) and some alcohol. Considering the 12% abv, this is pretty smooth and drinkable. Full bodied creamy mouth feel. Another excellent Imperial stout from Evil Twin.

12 oz. bottle. Rich thick black pour with a small but beautiful tan head. Nose and flavor bring big ridge fudge, chocolate ganache, truffle, hints of espresso, and more roasty bitterness than I was expecting. I think a few months of age did this some good, as the sweetness I remember from fresh Even More Jesus was toned down and certain dry characteristics and hints of dark fruit were allowed to shine through. Obviously viscous and bold on the palate. Quite good.

12oz bottle in a snifter. Pours black with a lacy, tan head. Aroma roasted malts, some chocolate, a little coffee, some dough, some fruits, and a little savory-ness. Flavor the same with a decent blend. Thicker texture. A good beer.
