COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial Stout with Coffee Added On a pilgrimmage for immortal craft beer we tripped on these heavenly coffee beans -- threw them in and created damn good aromas, a thick fudge-like body, pitch black color and obviously only made it in limited amounts. And the taste.... furthermore Jesus!

330 ml bottle into snifter; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours super dense pitch black color with a 2 finger dense dark brown head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, fudge, vanilla, molasses, dark bread, licorice, raisin, plum, light char/smoke, and roast/smokey earthiness. Incredible aromas with awesome complexity and balance of coffee and dark/roasted malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, fudge, vanilla, molasses, dark bread, licorice, raisin, plum, light char/smoke, and roast/smokey earthiness. Good amount of roast/coffee bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, fudge, vanilla, molasses, dark bread, licorice, light char, and roast/smokey earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of big coffee and dark/roasted malt flavors; with a great roasted bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and very full bodied; with a very smooth, creamy, and moderately slick/chalky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an incredible imperial coffee stout. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of big coffee and dark/roasted malt flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

bottle to glass. aroma is a deep earth and chocolate coffee, not astringent or too roasty. Taste is sublime. a decadent thick chocolate and fudge coffee. a hint of alcohol and a touch of pepper. Very full mouthfeel, but bitter enough not to be cloying. as I drink it, it does become a bit thick. a very good desert beer

Pours thick unclear black with a dark creamy cocoa colored. Aroma and flavor bring black coffee, not sweetness as you normally get in a roasted coffee beer. The aroma brings smokiness like in a Baltic Porter. The flavor brings a smoky bitter coffee roast sitting thick on the palate.
