Poured from at bottle, thanks to Bernt for the treat. Cloudy, amber body, thin, off-white head. Aroma of citrus shells. Compact taste of peaches, pine, and grapefruits. Heavy bitter ending with notes of alcohol on the swallow. Good, a bit heavy to drink, though (Schouskjelleren, Oslo 10.01.2011).

Pours orange brown with a standard ipa. Explosion of pine, grape, citrus, fresh hops in the nose. Crispy caramel malts as well. Same things going on the taste. It’s very bitter, even for an IIPA. But just really good, malts balance out really well.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Plovmand (5746) - Helsinge, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2011
Bottle. It pours hazy amber with a longlasting creamy off white head. The aroma is heavily loaded with fruity hops that gives notes of peahes, mango, citrus, red berries, pine and caramel. The flavour is intense fruity and hoppy. Strong notes of piney hops, peach, passion fruit, grass, lemon, citrus, caramel and lighter notes of warming alcohol. This is very good! Quite cremy textured. Long fruity and hoppy finish.

Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of fruity hops, the white grapes of Nelson Sauvin, and lots of orange peel, along with a fine malty note. Bright and inviting hop aroma. Sweet malty flavour but with no sign of cloying crystal malts. Citrus and other fruity hop flavours and a good, bitter finish
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Maria (9631) - Thisted, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2011
It’s hazy bronze-orange with a golden, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of citrus, peach, spruce, fruits and hints of cats-piss. The flavour is sweet with a nice bitterness and notes of caramel, citrus, spruce, peach and exotic fruits and the finish is dry and bitter. It’s a mouth cleaner!
