Bottled. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a small creamy head. Aroma is fruits, caramel, toffee, and quite big "acidicness" to it as well as mild herbs. Flavour is similar with a big bitter bite to it. Tasty.

Bottle. An unclear one, golden in color and topped by a minimal sized beige head. The aroma has peaches and pinecones, not much else detected. Nice though. That goes for the flavor too, it’s citrus peel, pine cones and a nice bitterness that leaves most impact, but in the background there’s sufficient amounts of malty sweetness. Ful-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Citrusy, bitter finish. Definitely not a quaffable, thirst quenching beer, but it’s tasteful and pleasant. 110916

(As Evil Twin All Occasions IPA) Draught, Bishops Arms Folkunga. Hazy darker amber with a nice soapy off white head that lace nicely. Resiny aroma with pine needles, grapefruit, apricot, caramel and some perfume. Bitter hoppy and nice aroma. Taste: Crisp with a hefty resiny bitterness. Pine, caramel, grapefruit, apricot, floral. Good balance between sweet and bitter. Medium to bigger body, soft tickling carbonation, a bit dry astringent mouthfeel. A tasty and well made AIPA. Pretty straight forward and simple perhaps, but it does the job well.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy earth hop and small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittersweet citrus hop flavor with a medium to heavy bitter finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer.

Cloudy, dark gold with little head. Smells slightly sour with double IPA sweetness. Very bitter initially and dry on the tongue, however eventually becomes sweet. Drinkable but not fantastic, lacks body.

Beautiful translucent orange with a dense and lasting beige head. Lots of particulates. Soft, slightly sticky, medium-full body with medium carbonation.

Aroma: fresh and fruity, with piney citrus hops, and sweet toffee malt.

Taste: bright juicey piney tangerine-rind hops, cracker and toffee malt. Bright and intense but balanced and pleasant. Flavors and aromas are nice and clean.

Don’t let the name fool you, Evil Twin Before, During and After Christmas is not a winter warmer full of cinnamon and nutmeg, it’s a monster Double IPA. You’ll know before the first sip from the hazy orange color, creamy white head, and huge hops aromas. Hops dominate the flavor, too. Lots of pine and citrus. A hint of caramel and bread. Outstanding lacing. Fantastically bitter, too. I wasn’t able to find an IBU rating, but it would not surprise me if this is 100+. If you like bruising IPAs, seek this one out!

Thanks tmoney99, but no thanks. Tastes and smells like a 6 month old IPA. Should be before during and after labor day for the day with the time the beer was made
