500ml Bottle: Aroma of hops, pine, resin, light citrus, and light crystal malt. Poured amber/orange in color with a large, creamy, rocky, off-white/tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Excellent lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and heavily bitter. Tastes of hops, citrus, pine, resin, light citrus, slight crystal malt, and some wood. Medium body. Oily, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Light to medium sweet, heavily bitter, hop, pine, citrus, orange, resin, finish is dry. 8%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

Cybercat (3256) - Georgia, USA - AUG 31, 2011
Strong aroma is quite hoppy with a subtle evergreen undertone and a hint of sour citrus that is not quite grapefruit and not quite orange. It pours a beautiful clear dark golden amber with a thick, frothy, off-white head. Hoppy flavor has hints of evergreen, sour orange and even malt. Full-bodied texture is edgy and lively, leaving behind a hoppy tingle.

A new variant of the excelent double IPA with the same name, but with stronger alcohol. A beautyfull pour that is deep hazy orange with a inch high off white head. The nose is nicely hopped with touches of pine and dry apricots backed up by a well balanced malt feeling. The mouthfeel is medium with a nice creamy touch that smoothen you toung and leads to a bitter and creamy finish. The alcohol seems a bit more balanced and is suiting the beer better than its big brother with its ten percent. A fine hoppy bitterness combined with a nice malty sweetness. Thumps up for remewing a good beer and making it better.

Pale golden pour nice layer of off white head light sticky lacing .... aroma is of floral and funky hops and biscuity malts ..... taste is of biscuity malts, citrusy and floral hops .... little sweet and citrusy with some resiny hops .... bitter hoppy that lingers in the finish ... more like a british ipa was a decent brew

On tap at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing. Confirmed that this was NOT the 10% version. Pours with a hazy golden body with a lasting white head and good lace. Aromas are hoppy, malty, tea, orange, medium esters and some grapefruit. Flavors of orange marmalade, tea, tangerine, caramel, citrus and bready. Medium bubbles. Lasting bready flavors. Dry, lightly warming.

The beer pours a rich golden shade of orange with a frothy, off-white head head. It’s quite cloudy and lacing clings to the glass walls. The aroma is quite hoppy, though it could be punched up a notch or two. The hops tend toward tangerines, pineapples, strawberries, pine and marijuana. There’s some sugary caramel underneath, but it’s not too strong. The malt sweetness picks up on the palate, and the beer is fairly sweet. The hops don’t quite reign things in enough, but they do their level best and the finish is fairly bitter. Unfortunately, the flavor also washes out a bit somehow towards the end. Mouthfeel starts full but thins a bit. Carbonation is relatively low. There’s a touch of booze, not bad nor good for an 8% abv beer. This is tasty stuff, but it doesn’t blow me away, and I’m a bit disappointed, given the high price tag.
