On tap at Ginger Man, NYC. Nice hazy deep orange pour with a light head, semi-fluffy with sticky legs. Nose is initially sweet syrup, but dry and grassy hops come on thankfully. Body is medium, not quite as full as hoped for, and thus the mouthfeel is a bit sticky. Booze and sweet malts are a bit more forward than I care for but the beer nonetheless tastes sprightly and dry. Pretty good, but not the best DIPA from this brewery.

On tap at Bangers... Light straw clear, light tope head, good lace... Malty alcohol, some good hops, actually really good... The taste is totally drinkable, malty grass hops, a bit of an alcohol finish, but easy to drink

deyholla (6504) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 29, 2011
Bottle thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that lasted throughout the beer and laced. Aroma has a good amount of pine with a pretty strong caramel and sweet grain backbone. Flavor starts with sweet grains and a hint of caramel but finishes with pine and a bit of resin. Sticky on the tongue.

Tallahassee, Fl - Proof Friday night tasting - Medium dark copper pour with a sticky off-white head. Nice spruce aroma, not overblown. Flavor has a smooth citrus bent to it without being tongue numbing. Hint of maple syrup in the back end and some nuttiness. Thick and rich mouthfeel. Overall, solid.

Bottled. Pours hazy golden with some sediments floating and a large, white, fluffy and lacing head. Nose of lemon, pine needles, grape and caramel notes. Medium sweet and hoppy flavour with citrus and caramel notes. Creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Medium to full bodied. Crisp and bitter finish. A very decent DIPA.

murphym45 (769) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 8, 2011
On tap at Rattle. Pours hazy gold with a creamy beige head. Nice hop aroma with lots of fruit, pine, and citrus. Taste is all hops, with a nice piney hop bitterness, and a very faint malt presence. Pretty much what you hope for when you get an IPA/DIPA.
