Pours a slightly hazy, deep golden body with a rather small head. Some citrus and pine in the nose, subtle grapefruit and melon. Do I detect a hint of diacetyl ? hmm.. Definitely some butterscotch in the flavour so I think yes. Otherwise we have citrus and grapefruits and a medium to heavy bitterness. Medium-full body with soft to medium carbonation.

Bottle at home. Pours a pretty clear orange amber colour with a khaki medium head. Well-carbonated. Has a distinct aroma of grassy hops almost like pure pellets, along with grapefruit and pine. Nicely balanced. Lots of hoppy sourness in the taste as well, feels dry, and with the addition of harpix and more grapefruit. Soft and silky mouth feel, and has a medium to heavy bitterness. This is a nice beer if you’re a hophead, for me it’s well-balanced but a bit one dimensional beer.

Bottle ass All Occasions. Hazy golden orange with a talll cap of fluffy white head that laces quickly. Lots of pine and grassy hop aroma. Pretty heavy on cascade with lots of grapefruit and pine, but pretty a one dimensional IPA. Rather thin body, but lots of sticky resinous hops. It’s a good IPA, but i’m not sure why evil twin makes 10 of them.

Bottle: Labeled as All Occasions IPA. Thanks Papsø: Medium sized, vast of structure, creamy to off white colored foamy head ob top of a light cloudy orange amber colored beer. The aroma is a decent but also pretty light smell for a DIPA: doninating hop fruit like grapefruit, pine apple, grapes and citrus with hints of malts, citrus candy, citrus soap, something very light spicy/minty, creamy and some chalk. Overall a dominating grapefruit (citrus) aroma. Flavour is stronger than the smell. Good long lasting bitter, hop biters, hop fruits like grapefruit, blood orange and some bitter citrus, hint of creamy crispy malts, hint of vanilla, floral and bitter grass, plants bitter, herbs, slight hint of oatmeal and light dry. Aftertaste is bitter, hoppy, grapefruit, floral and more bitter. A light subtle dryness. Low carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium to more fuller body and a creamy texture. Good beer, a better and easy drinkable DIPA.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Almost clear golden. No head. An aroma of sweet fruit. A bitterness hits the mouth first but then subsides. This is spicy and has a bigmalt profile. Sometimes this is nig and aggressive and others it is dubtle. Fun.

OleR (4247) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 5, 2013
From tap @Olympen, Oslo, as "Evil Twin All Occations IPA" Pours a deep hazy gold, with a low white head. Bold hop nose, resin and zesty citrus. Medium full malt body, light sweet and grainy. Sharp, oily, light astringent bitterness. Juicy texture. Alcohol warmth in the finish. Drinks ok, a little rough around the edges, though. [27.12.12]

Nothing super impressive for this DIPA. Nice orange copper body with a bright off white head. Fresh and floral hops with big resin and citrus fruit notes. Mild toasted bready notes with a bit of caramel sweetness and a fruity floral hop. Moderate bitterness on the finish with a bit of lingering hop burn. Overall, just okay.

Aroma is citrus/orange, malts and a small hint of lemons. The flavor is grapefruit, spices, earthy malts and a long and bitter finish. Kind of different for a DIPA, the spices made it interesting.
