Tap @ Fairbar. Slightly hazy golden pour with a small head that quickly forms a ring on top. Nose has notes of yogurt, some light funk, lemon peel and some lychee. Taste is a tad tart, some pineapple, lactic and some light cereal notes.

Tap at CBC 2014. Light yellow in the glass, small head. Sourish-salty aroma. Starts mild, sourish, light salty, not too intense. Fruity hints of apricot. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Tap @ Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, medium sample, served in a tulip glass. Slight hazy yelllow color, short head. Aroma is slight tart, bit white wine, fruity, slight spicy. Soft fruity bitterness, low to medium sourness. Low to medium carbonation, decent body. Very enjoyable starter of a Sunday hipster pub crawl.

Bottle at home. Pours clear and sparkling gold with a large, frothy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is lactic lemon and grape notes, sour wheat malt and light earthy hops. Flavor is tart and lactic sourness, lemon and grapes, earthy wheat malt, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and lively carbonation.

Keg at Craft Covent Garden. As you would expect from a Berliner Weisse but seems extra dry. Hint of lemon, but wheat dominates. Looks fairly lifeless but has a little carbonation prickle in it. Aftertaste is a little sweet and more grainy.

On draft at Craft Beer Co (Clerkenwell) in London. Cloudy, golden pour sprouts a surprising amount of frothy white head. Excellent retention, particularly for a Berliner. I don't give appearance 5s often, but this is deserving.

Healthy sour base, green apples, delicious Greek yogurt as it goes down. Perfect amount of pucker. Body is smooth as silk, almost like it's on nitro. Aroma is pleasant but doesn't grab me by the short-and-curlies like the other aspects do.

For a non-fruited Berliner, I can't imagine it gets much better than this. Wow.

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, blue session. 02/05/2014. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is musty, erthy grape skins, green apple. Flavour is straw, grapeskin, light acid tart in the finish. Palate is light acid, very drying. Meh.

Keg at Craft Beer Clerkenwell. Cloudy yellow. Nose a little yoghurt, lemon, lactic. Sour lemon, bready, hint of sweetness. Dry sticky teeth. Zinging lips. Something in the background - malty lemonade?
