Tap at Mikkeller bar. Looks stunning. Black with a thick medium dense everlasting brown head. Aromatic fruity plum aroma, loads of roasted malt, coffee and toasted bread. Flavor is a little off, medium bitter roasted, salty, light cloying sweetness hmm. Mixed feelings about this one.

Tap @ Mikkeller. Aroma is heavy plum and plum peel, brett notes, rather dank and plum fruity. A hint of chocolate, but even after letting it breathe for a while, I don't get much porter characteristics, mainly fruit and brett. Taste is nicely acidic plum and brett and some nice roasted maltiness. Some nice sweetness, both plum notes as well as chocolate and malt sweetness. Very balanced. Far better than the blackcurrant version, but still, I think, inferior to the original.

From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours pitch black with a small chocolate brown head. Aroma is bretty, citric, fruity and slight sweet. Dark malty, light tarish, sweet, bretty leathery and mild infection note, pleasant. Fruity and bretty dry into the finish, lasting fruity impression.

Chopp. Pitch black colour, nice steady big dark brown head leaving a good lacing. Very pleasant aroma of very roasty malt, chocolate, coffee and dark fruit (plum), sweet. Thick good sticky bit mouthfeel. The flavor is very pleasant ndeed with sweet roasted malt, chocolate dark fruit/plum, bit alcohol. Sweet roasted malt dark fruity long lasting finish. Great!
