COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a really big beer and we wanted to put it in small bottles, but the two bozos were so fat they couldnít fit on the label. Enjoy this rich, ridiculous and screwball-ish Imperial Stout with hints of: molasses, lactose, chocolate, almond, hazelnut, vanilla bean, cinnamon, oak spiral, chili, marshmallow, muscovado sugar, chesnut and coffee. Made for Bozos.

Bottle thanks to will. Nose is super boozy. Slightly peppery. Taste is completely complex. A lot of pepper and coffee. The alcohol is there in the mouthfeel but not hot. Drying.

Bottle. Pours dark black, small tan head, some lacing. Aroma is cocoa, tobacco, anise, black strap molasses, coffee. Flavor is cocoa tobacco, roasty malt, molasses. Light plus sweet, medium bitter, quite hot. Medium body.

Bottle share thanks to Homer321. Sweet, licorice, molasses, some spicy notes, cinnamon. Dark black pour, no lacing. More pepper in the flavor, sweet, molasses, chills, cinnamon, some alcohol heat but doesnít seem like 17%.

Bottle. Black pour with a fleeting tan head. Loads of coffee and dark roasted malts. All kinds of dark roasted malts and expresso. Some bitterness to it, perhaps from the malts. Average body and mouthfeel.

Large shared bottle of Bozo Beer Brewed at Westbrook Brewing (SC). Dark opaque body. Very rich. Various flavors and aromas donít come together nicely and, worse yet, it is too vegetative. Compared poorly to other imperial stouts at the same tasting session, including Eclipse.

Bottle. Pitch black with a creamy mocha head. What an enormous beer. Chocolate, roasted malt, marshmallow and a big chili pepper kick. Thick and sticky. Overwhelming and totally over the top but delicious.

On tap @ 10 East - Aroma - coffee, dark corn syrup, toffee, soy and alcohol Appearance - black body, thin 1-finger dark tan head, zero retention/lacing Mouthfeel - sticky, full bodied, low carbonation...sludgy Flavor - huge coffee flavor, black strap molasses, some alcohol but not nearly as prominent as it could be. Green pepper underlying the roasted notes. Overall - huge, huge beer. A bit unfocused with the coffee note being dominant, but itís tasty. Seems like it has room to be more complex.

Pours a black thick oil. Small dark tan head that dissipates quickly. Strong coffee, cocoa and marshmallow aroma. Amazingly smooth stout. Strong roasted coffee and chocolate. Marshmallow and a lovely alcohol warmth finishes. Amazing beer.

Pours like used motor oil, perhaps the most viscous beer Iíve ever seen. Small tan head.

Aromas of marshmallow, some light smoke, light roast, whole lotta chocolate. No hops or spice detected. Taste is sweet and bitter from the malt. Flavors of pretty much everything - chocolate milkshake, coco puffs, vanilla, some light nuttiness, roasted malts, twigs and berries, ash, cigars. Wow. Pretty intense and impressive, but the most impressive part is that this beer drinks like its 9%abv. Really. Itís that silky smooth and of course, sweet as fuck. Finishes like a chocolate doughnut with just the slightest hint of spicy pepper. If this beer were wine barrel fermented with brett for a few years and completely dried out it would be perfect. But as it sits, itís just a touch too sweet. Not hot, but sweet. Good effort though, and Iím glad I pounded the entire beer in the time it took to write this review. This beer is fucken great for fat bozos like me! Thanks, Jeppe!
