This is a really big beer and we wanted to put it in small bottles, but the two bozos were so fat they couldnít fit on the label. Enjoy this rich, ridiculous and screwball-ish Imperial Stout with hints of: molasses, lactose, chocolate, almond, hazelnut, vanilla bean, cinnamon, oak spiral, chili, marshmallow, muscovado sugar, chesnut and coffee. Made for Bozos.

22oz bottle from Party Town, shared. Bottle slowly foamed over just a smidge when opened. Very dark pour. Almost pitch black. Thin light brown head. Some loose dots of lace. Big nose, lots of roast, some vanilla. Wow. Alcohol is extremely well hidden for 17%. Way less bite and burn then expected, pretty much none really. Drinks like 12%. Nice bitterness, light sweet. Bigger body. Smooth lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Marshmallow. Some bitter dark chocolate, nice burnt roasty coffee. Maybe just a hint of acidic. Hint of spice... Super good and complex. Amazing how well this hides the alcohol. I could have probably easily finished this whole bottle myself.

I loved this beer! It had all the qualities of an imperial stout that I look for these days. I found it to be a lot like the "Bomb" by Prairie but with way less chili on the back end. Pours a dark chocolate color with vanilla, hazelnut, hints of coffee. You name it...itís in there! Very well balanced for 17.2% ABV with little to no heat. I highly recommend this one to any stout lover.

This beer is a dark horse. Not overly sought after which is a good thing because it means more for me. Simply amazing for a stout. Will be aging a couple of bottles. Very pleased and a recommend to any stout lovers.

Ale Alpharetta December meetup. Holy hell this beer is huge in every sense. Massive nose of extra strong coffee, chocolate, earthy, sweet vanilla, some spice and more coffee. Taste is just as strong in coffee, sweet chocolate, milk chocolate, booze, caramel, vanilla. Canít believe this is 17%. Very sweet, but the couple ounce pour I had was divine.

Pours a nearly opaque black with some reddish brown highlights on the edges. There is a fairly nice size dark brown head, much larger than I would have expected for such a high gravity beer. The aroma is rich with coffee, burnt woods, dark chocolate, molasses, and toffee. Taste is very similar. The most remarkable aspect of the beer might be mouthfeel considering the ABV. The alcohol presence is relatively minimal. Doesnít feel like its much over 10%. Crazy stuff.

Pours a deep burnt umber color with a finger of khaki foam. The nose hits you with spiced earthiness at first, spent coffee grounds, chili, cinnamon and a dark heavy roast of chocolate. The palate follows but has much more sweetness... smooth round milky chocolate on the front that slides into the spicy earthy coffee notes midpalate then back to a smooth chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow and nougat finish. DAMN Tasty ! Really enjoyed this beer more than I thought I would !

Pours an oily pitch black with a bubbly brown head that disappears quickly, and lots of alcohol legs. Tons of alcohol on the nose, nice roasty coffee, caramel, brown sugar, milky chocolate, some vanilla, a nice nutty characteristic, and a light hint of oak. Really tasty, thereís lots of cinnamon, brown sugar, caramel, hazelnut, really roasty coffee with lots of cream, really nice milk chocolate, a touch of vanilla, and a bitter earthy finish. Soooo tasty, and much smoother than the smell led me to believe. Very creamy and not a ton of super dark bitter flavors. Hard to believe that this is 17.2% just by the taste. Yummy.

Oil black pour with a light brown creamy head that settles around the circumference of the glass. Nose is espresso grounds, vanilla, dark chocolate, and some faint Chili. Taste is sweet chocolate coffee up front. It evolves into a more vanilla and almond/nutty finish with some hints of chili. Not sure if itís booze or pepper heat. Long bitter finish, thick syrupy body. Intense.

Sample from the bartender at Proletariat, thanks man. Pours a black body with thin ring of off white lacing. Aroma is pepper, chocolate roast and coffee. Mouthfeel is medium with almost a crispness to it; flavors of espresso and peppers mostly. Nice, could taste the alcohol in the Bbourbon Biscotti way more than in this one. Does this make me a Bozo?
