COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Can you imagine something more repulsive than the smell of cats piss? Not really - go on, open up and inhale the sharp nose of cats piss extracted from the heavenly dry hopped Nelson Sauvin. The good news is youíll love the freshness and the light body. Itís a true quality guzzler IPA.

15 cl. draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft Ė (A) only slightly hazy amber with a white head Ė (S) mellow slightly fruity grapefruit hops / Nelson with a dash of caramel / exactly like cat piss according to my friend who has more expertise in that area / mission accomplished Ė (T) definitely on the mellow side for an IPA Ė mellow grapefruit hops, passionfruit, touch white grapes, caramel, definite malt presence in here finishing in a medium pine plus touch herbal bitter finish Ė (B) touch oily, easily drinkable, hop feel to it as well Ė not a bad IPA

Bottle. Pours a near clear gold with a huge white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma was full of hay and grains with a bcking grassy and a hint of flora hops. Flavor is similar with crereal, grain and hay up front with growing grassy hops.

Scopey (6317) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2012
Draft at Delirium Hoppy Loft. It pours amber, with a thick, fluffy white head. The nose is sweet, sticky orange fruit, urine and herbal. The taste is wood, resin, hay, straw, sweet orange, tangerine and herbal notes, with a very dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Doesnít work for me.

Bottle from city beer. Good european ipa. Has a really dry finish. You can smell the malts. Good beer

Bottle from Bierkoning. Hazy orange body with tons of head. A real gusher. Nose is citrus and hoppy. Taste is lots of hops and fruits and some caramel in the finish. Not bad at all. Was expecting worse! Then again with these two brewers how can it go wrong?

Now before you open Cat Piss get your glass ready and near a sink. This is the worst beer Iíve ever seen when it comes to pouring. Even when you pour a little bit into the glass it quickly rises and overflows the glass. Tons of frothy head. Tons of lacing and great retention. It pours a glowing amber color. The smell is not as much cat piss as I would of liked honestly. I was hoping for a funky ass aroma but didnít get it. Instead itís mostly citrus with a nice earthy malty character. Spicy in a way. Was looking to be overwhelmed with the taste like I was with Alpine Nelson but wasnít. Instead itís a nice decent IPA. Once again the citrus comes out with other tropical fruit hoppy flavors. People state they get a berry like taste here too. I didnít get that. If you look up some sites they say the hop itself gives off a taste and aroma of freshly crushed Gooseberries. Like I said didnít get that. The beer rounds out with a sweet floral taste mixed in with the earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied. A nice slight bitterness to it.

Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is funk with hops. Maybe the name is fitting. Not bad, but ot my thing. Too funky/spicy for a supposed to be ipa.

[bottle] I usually rate the aroma first, but this beer is so foamy, I might as well describe its appearance while I wait: cloudy bronze under a huge, rocky off-white meringue cover that doesnít go away. Probably wouldnít be cloudy but for the need to tip the bottle back up after the foam filled up the glass. Aroma: Sweet citrus, some pine, and spicy caramel/toffee. Flavour is a blast of hops up front: salty grapefruit and herbal, bitter grapefruit peel, followed by sweet base malt and strawberry accents. Bitterness is medium. Bittersweet finish, high carbonation, full body.

181211: Very cloudy brown beer with crazy much foam that gave laces on the glass. Fine hop aroma. Hard citrus hop flavor (actually a little on the high side).

Draft and growler. Unclear golden with off-white head. Aroma is citrus-hoppy and it tastes somewhat sweet with a dominating note of citrus - somewhat resembling cat-piss because of the combination with the sweetness. Ends with a bitter finish. Iíd like to try it with even more hops, but until then Iíll just have another please!
