COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Can you imagine something more repulsive than the smell of cats piss? Not really - go on, open up and inhale the sharp nose of cats piss extracted from the heavenly dry hopped Nelson Sauvin. The good news is youíll love the freshness and the light body. Itís a true quality guzzler IPA.

Pours a hazy dark amber with a VERY thick pale honey-tan head. Be careful, this can fizz like nobodyís business! Hoppy aroma is sharp and has a fruity undertone. Flavor is fairly hoppy and a little fruity with a bit of a metallic tang and just a little bitterness. Edgy, tingly, firm-bodied texture leaves a hoppy, fruity and slightly sweet finish. Cat p*ss indeed!

Bottle bought at Hopduvel in Gent. It almost exploded out of the bottle so I had to be quick to pour it. The result was a huge pale yellow head standing on hazy orange-golden ground. Nutty smell, some malts, a bit weird actually, it smells like peanuts. The peanut smell is in the taste as well. Iím not sure if this is an off flavour but it didnít work for me.

Bottle. Doesnít smell much like cat piss to me (my girlfriend has a cat, I know). Citrusy nose with a hint of light malts. Pours a hazy, chunky yellow with a huge off-white head. Taste is a nice balance of citrusy hoppiness and malt. Nice bitterness in the finish. A nice, drinkable IPA.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with white head. Nose/taste of dank resinous tree sap, funky hops, pine and caramel malt. Dry resin finish. Medium body.

Bottle from Caponeís. Pours turbid orange with a frothy head and copious clingy lace. Nose is big black peppery Nelson Sauvin hops, malt, tropical citrus fruit. Tastes hoppy, very bitter, with tons of astingent IBU-laden NS hops. Stays bitter and bone dry, with a solid malt bill, very hefty palate, and an acrid finish that is a tad harsh. Has a lot of that peaty scotch-barrel flavor that the one Brewdog beer had.

DutchDrebus (3876) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - OCT 15, 2011
Hazy orange colour with a big white head. Smells very hoppy, almost overwhelming, fruity but a bit unfresh. Tastes aggressive, bitter and unfresh. Sticky mouthfeel, too much carbo, long nasty aftertaste.

@ Copenhagen festival 2011. The aroma has some malts, vegetables, grass, citrus. Hazy-cloudy, orange coloured beer with not much head. The taste is quite bitter, dry and astringent. Very hoppy.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Labeled as Katz Pis. Well the pour starts with a glass of beige foam that dissipates into a clear copper liquid. Lots of citrus and floral aroma coming out of the foam. Med body. Quite a bit of hop - and a lot of itís bitter. Citrus, floral and somehow a lot of earthy barnyard - almost like brett dropped by. Oh, and thereís some soft caramel. I think. My mouth is doing a slow hop burn. How good is that!

Bottle at hotel Bodegraven, shared with Dutchdrebus and Iluvatarmilan. Hazy orange color, big foamy white head. Smell hops, lemon and citrus. Tastes very bitter, some hops and some fruityness come through but mainly bitter. High, firm, fizzy carbonation, medium body.

Bottle from City Beer. Pours cloudy golden with an out of control beige head that takes a while to subside. There is a floral toffee aroma and a smooth caramel malt flavor with a deliciously dry hoppy finish. Easy to drink.
