Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is funk with hops. Maybe the name is fitting.
Not bad, but ot my thing. Too funky/spicy for a supposed to be ipa.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from recent Chicago trip, Westlake Liquors. Pours, even for me, monstrous amount of foam. Bottle was a foamer. Neutralized aroma through the perfumed Sauvign hops, let’s call it a neutral aroma. Tingling yet creamy mouthfeel of hops and malt. Not bad to drink, bit took some getting used to.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ Apex.
Hazy golden body with a good amount of white head. Huge floral hop punch in the nose with mango - pungent as the beer’s name implies. Flavor is the same with very little bitterness and an odd aftertaste.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2011 Bottle (33 cl) from Bierkompass.de. Shady amber with creamy off-white head. Earthy, somewhat unclean malt base with some tropical fruit hop aroma, I would not have guessed on Nelson Sauvin. Medium bodied and smooth. Fairly dry with a bit metallic bitterness.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011: pours a rally cloudy orange body with a thin filmy off-white head. Aroma is quite fruity and nice, mot much that reminds me of cat piss. Or wait a minute, yes it it.. Yeasty, sour, concentrated and cold cat piss. Bah! Also some strawberries and ripe pears in the aroma. Thick mouthfeeling, soft carbonation and full-bodied. Malty and slightly sour flavors - like sour leafs. Also some grapefruity notes and a little bit of pine. Ends light bitter with a grassy and sticky mouthfeeling in the aftertaste. Not sure what to think of this, but I guess it wasn’t that bad.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from tap @CBF ’11. Cloudy dark yellow. Medium white top. Nice smell of mixed bag tropical at firet, offset by a tight and sharp aroma from the shitloads of Nelson Sauvin added. (I’ll kill that cat!). Taste appeaers more balanced. A fine, but sharp fruity hop flavor, with notes of apricot and peaches. Medium malt body. A light hop bitterness and some acidity underneath. Light-bodied and easy drinkable. Balanced fruity bitterness in the finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark orangey amber with a huge foamy off-white head and lots of lacing. Aroma of quite spicy hops, orange zest, yeast and some caramel malt. Flavour is quite spicy and zesty, with very spicy hops and not much malt balance. Also, I must admit, there’s a feint recognition of kittie litter and cat piss. Decent.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at CK. Hazy light amber pour. Nose and flavor remind me more of a pale ale, with a light but lovely Nelson Sauvin nose of melon, grapefruit, touches of white wine, and a bit of malt balance. High carbonation, crisp and refreshing. Quite decent.
