COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Can you imagine something more repulsive than the smell of cats piss? Not really - go on, open up and inhale the sharp nose of cats piss extracted from the heavenly dry hopped Nelson Sauvin. The good news is you’ll love the freshness and the light body. It’s a true quality guzzler IPA.

Bottle 33 cl, Kihoskh, Copenhagen. Pours hazy dark copper with a huge creamy head leaving plenty of lace. Aroma is not cat piss, but sweet, malty and spicy, some caramel and citrus plus pine. Very nice. Citric crispy mouthfeel. Flavor is acidy, very bitter hoppy, citric and piny with nice peppery pungeant tones. Good sweetness there behind. Finishes longlived sweet citric and spicy bitter.

Den inleder med en god humlig arom och smaken fortsätter i samma stil. Den är blommig med inslag av citrus, mycket citrus. Ölen gav mig en liten märklig känsla i början men den avslutade med en mycket behagligare känsla.

from erzbierschof.ch - cloudy dark orange colour with a robust creamy beige foam left; superb lacework; a pronounced hoppiness with notes of apricots and orange peels, creamy palate and medium-bodied, a solid bitterness and very dry; long very bitter fruity finish - robust and very pleasant

Towering off-white head over coppery-amber beer, slight haze. Fruity hops’ nose, exotic fruit as passion fruit, but also billberry. I smell alcohol as from a spirit, too, and relatively little if any valerian - cats’ piss. Melon, watermelon, bitterish - if mild - hopoil, touch of lytchee. Otherwise said, Nelson Sauvin - a superb hop. And indeed, in the finish, a meaty, muscus-like flavour. Very slick, as clarified butter, and medium bodied. Very good beer, its main surprise being delicat and pungent at the same time. Congrats!

Explodes out of bottle with a five+ finger off-white head that fades very slowly to a lump leaving chunks of lace. Hazy light amber color with some yeast left in bottle. Pine hops nose. Fierce carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor has some caramel with pine hops. Decent IPA. Pricey at $7.70 for a 330ml bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me. Best before 2013. Bottle label is Katz Pis.

Bottle from Whole Foods Roosevelt

My first Evil twin brew. Maize with an off-white head and long-lasting sudsy lacing along the sides of the glass. On the aroma I get grapefruit, cactus, and yes, if you imagine hard enough, something that resembles cat piss. Floral hops, grapefruit and peach and a bit of melon but dusty rather than juicy with notable yeast presence and a peppery finish. Very enjoyable, very drinkable IPA but at $7.99 for 12oz it simply can’t compete as a regular drinker.

Bottle at The Cad’s Pure Mad Rocket Mon The Beezer Tasting. Pours cloudy orange-brown with a thick, off-white head. Tropical fruit hop aroma, some malts. Pineapple. Pretty sweet flavor, with crispy malts and honey and fruit, restrained bitterness, more fruits and light pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Has a semi-sticky finish with more tropical frits and some lingering, earthy bitterness. Very nice.
