COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Can you imagine something more repulsive than the smell of cats piss? Not really - go on, open up and inhale the sharp nose of cats piss extracted from the heavenly dry hopped Nelson Sauvin. The good news is you’ll love the freshness and the light body. It’s a true quality guzzler IPA.

Bottle say dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin not Summit. Pours a ver cloudy orange color with a frothy white head. Aroma is of fresh juciy hops, grape fruit and topical fruit jucie. Flavor is very hoppy again the tropical fruit jucie like pineapple, grapefruit, some resinous bitterness, and faint caramel malts. The body is medium and very dry. Overall a really interesting IPA!

Now before you open Cat Piss get your glass ready and near a sink. This is the worst beer I’ve ever seen when it comes to pouring. Even when you pour a little bit into the glass it quickly rises and overflows the glass. Tons of frothy head. Tons of lacing and great retention. It pours a glowing amber color. The smell is not as much cat piss as I would of liked honestly. I was hoping for a funky ass aroma but didn’t get it. Instead it’s mostly citrus with a nice earthy malty character. Spicy in a way. Was looking to be overwhelmed with the taste like I was with Alpine Nelson but wasn’t. Instead it’s a nice decent IPA. Once again the citrus comes out with other tropical fruit hoppy flavors. People state they get a berry like taste here too. I didn’t get that. If you look up some sites they say the hop itself gives off a taste and aroma of freshly crushed Gooseberries. Like I said didn’t get that. The beer rounds out with a sweet floral taste mixed in with the earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied. A nice slight bitterness to it.

September 2011. Bottle labeled Cat Piss. I think this was later changed for the US market. Amber color with a white head. Good IPA structure with floral notes and a dry hoppy finish.

Bottled. Hazy pale amber, small head. Peachy winegum aroma. Medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of citrus - kumquat and grapefruit. Really bitter finish, but without becoming aggressive. Realy good IPA!

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of malt, hops, Earth, light citrus, slight grass, Nelson Sauvins, and dust. Poured amber/brown in color with a huge, foamy, fluffy, loose, off-white head that did not really diminished, and took up half of the glass. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tons of tiny and small particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is medium to heavily bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, resin, malt, grass, and Nelson Sauvins. Medium body. Tingly, then dry texture. Average to slightly lively carbonation. Medium to heavily bitter, hop, pine, resin, grass, Nelson Sauvin finish is lightly dry.
