Draft at Brewvival 2012. Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of tart cherries, earth and roasted malts. The taste is big sweet and tart cherries, roasted malts and rum notes. Medium bodied. Very nice beer.

Pouring at the Night of the Barrels on the Friday night of EBF 2012. Pours a deep black with a medium sized beige to tan head. Soft malt, toast, chocolate. Medium bodied, sweet, slightly sour acid with a light astringency. Big cherry, tart cherry skins. Long cherry skin tannins on the finish. Nice.
