Bon.

Dark brown (heading to black) pour, thin brown head. Big, sweet nose, roast, chocolate, licorice, dark fruit, cherry. Taste follows, starting sweet and ending in roasty / hop bitterness. Superb stout.

Bottle purchased in Greece at the Hoppy, aged over a year and consumed in Kosovo. Pours dark coffe bean going black but with some brownish reminiscence, no foam. Nose: dark chocolate,a bit dusty, wet wood and some red fruit in background. Mouth: carbonation almost gone, more watery, filtered coffee, a bit sweet with a mild bitter grassy finish. Aged fine!

Black with decent beige head, leaves some lacing. Aroma is a lot of chocolate and plum, some roastiness and licorice in the back, a little fudge too. Taste is moderately sweet, bitterness is rather low, there’s some alcohol in the aftertaste but it’s not too intensive. Texture is somewhat creamy, but it could be thicker. Beer is really enjoyable, but not amazing really. Alcohol is getting worse when beer is getting warmer.

Bottle. Pretty much black with a tan head that makes an inch and a half then subsides to a coat. Richly roasted aroma with molasses, coffee, pine and spices. Just a slightly aggressive and boozy edge to it. 8 If that edge detracts from the aroma a little, it lifts the taste and palate away from being a bit on the lush and bland side. It has sweet malty, roasted and mocha depth but a nice edge that’s a bit ashy and bitter. Finish is bitter dark chocolate. Very good.
