TET (1642) - FINLAND - JUN 7, 2014
A black beer with a weak but beautiful and brown head. The aroma is roasted, medium sweetness, salt liquirice, also sweet strawberries. Delicious. Taste is strongly roasted, strong black coffee, nice sweetness is balancing the roasted notes, salt liquirice and some berries. The bitterness is noticed just in the end. Low carbonation, almost full bodied, smooth. The great beer with refreshning strawberries.

Black beer with minimal brown head. Aroma is not too outspoken, beer is very sweet with decent bitterness. Beer is gooey thick, not bad, but just misses a little character.

33 cl bottle @ home
Aroma is dry with deep roastiness, licorice and a sourish Belgian feeling. Flavour has somewhat salty licorice and coffee. Also some dark chocolate and ashy tones. Dry and delicious.

Great stout with a light but pleasant aroma, medium to low corbonation, chocolate notes, sweet taste with a touch of bitter and a medium lasting light aftertaste. High in alchohol yet it feels lower. Overall a highly recomended chocolate stout.

330ml bottle at Stu’s. Black with a big tan head. Quite fizzy. Aromas of coffee and chocolate. Taste is more of the same, but big, rich and creamy. Lingering bittersweet finish. Nice.

Bottle from Belmont Station, Portland. De Molen version. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black, little to no tan head. Aroma coffee, chocolate, Cadbury Creme Eggs, maybe a twinge of roasted grain. Body medium-full, with a coffee-like bitterness in the finish, dissolving into a cacao type character. Maybe the slightest hint of oxidization. Not sure how old this actually is...

Bottle 33cl bought at Systembolaget. Dark brown to black liquid with a large non-white foam that quickly disappears. The aroma of leather, coffee beans and dark chocolate. The taste of leather, tar and coffee beans. Smooth mouthfeel with a slight alcohol taste with a distinct lasting flavor of dark roasted coffee
