Bottle. Inky black pour with thin khaki head. Aroma of cocoa powder, alcohol, dark chocolate and smoke. Medium/full mouthfeel with a aggressively bitterness. Flavors of licorice, dark fruit, and some earthy elements and a dry finish. This is a complex beer, with some intense flavors, but also a bit rough on the palate.

Pours a viscous black producing a creamy and thick brown head that lasts forever and laces the glass well. Classic imp stout stuff here. Big roast and malts on the nose with both fruityness and chocolate. Taste is roast, chocolate and bitter coffee. Slick mouthfeel with enough co2

Man this beer looks beautiful and smells like a chocolate fondue night at The Melting Pot! Taste leaves a slight bite on the downside, but overall another delicious beer from EvilTwin! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Ei8ht Ball. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate malt, booze, salty pretzel. Flavor is a little sweeter- more booze, vanilla, roasted malt, charred malt, bitter chocolate. A little heavy but still complex and interesting. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

Bottle @ home shared by LeninCat. Thanks Lenin! Pours a deep brown appearance with a brown head. Marshmallow, advise, dark chocolate, toffee aroma. The flavor has a fair amount of caramelized sugars along with some coconut, dark fruit, and roasty notes. Drinks pretty good.

Bottle at CBC Clerkenwell at the Evil Twin meet the brewer event. Pours black with a thick tan head leaving great lacing. Nose is full of milk chocolate, liquorice and sticky toffee. Taste is silky smooth vanilla and milk chocolate followed by light aniseed and thick caramel. Quite decadent stuff but has a nice ashy undertone to it to balance out the sweetness. Very good stuff

Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lasting brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, bakers cocoa, light smoke and light coffee. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, ashes and a hint of coffee with a smooth lingering chocolate finish.
