Pitch black with a ton of head to start, dissipated quikly. Aroma is chocolate, molasses, vanilla, booze, roasty malt, tobacco, and rather sweet. Flavor is slightly bitter, coffee, dark chocolate. Finishes extra dry. Alcohol is nicely hidden and doesn’t come across like it does in the nose. Carbonation is rather lively, and helps release the flavor and perhaps hide the alcohol. This is a very nice brew.

Pours black, opaque, with stable light brown foamy head. Visualy low carbonation with small, slow up rising bubbles. Aroma: alcohol note is evident, but well hidden behind roasted malt character like coffee, dark chocolate, and behind caramel. Fruity esters are also evident, like dark fruits, reisins etc. Flavor is very similar: intense, with moderate roasted malt flavor, with strong bittersweet note of dark chocolate, hint of coffee and cocoa. Malt is supported with caramel. Fruity esters are slightly intensive and they take on dark fruit, like plums and raisins. Hop bitterness is high, malt sweetness is medium, finish is dry and moderately sweet, slightly warming though alcohol note is not detectable. Body is full, sticky, smooth, carbonation is low.

355ml bottle. Similiar to their liil B in it has an acetone issue, but not as bad, dark black pour.

Foam is nougat brown and poor, but since the strength is on the whole 10%, the rich foam are often rare. Clear strong aroma of dark chocolate and strong coffee. Sweet taste of dried fruits (prunes and raisins) and then a good and rich saturation of dark chocolate, where strong coffee notes knocking on in the background. The alcohol contributes vinous warm filling, and towards the end surpasses the taste to a beautiful mocha flavor that draws long pleasant and satisfying aftertaste. Carbonation is completely gone in this Imperial Stout, but when it is already packed with great flavors, even a slight tingling in the mouth caused by carbonation enough aggravate the good impression it holds. An absolutely well brewed Imperial stout, which is fine for the winter. Great applause from here.

The appearance is outstanding. A thick Beer that grows in sweetness as it goes along, it’s good but just not great for me. I don’t think I like imperial stouts as much as I used to
