This is good but nothing new. It has the evil twon house flavor to it. Which i assume is from the yeast. Carbonation is low. And thr head quickly fades. Heavily roaste malt. Some coffee and chocolate flsvor. Heavy palate. Flsvor had a little spoce, amd i get some plastic in the aftertaste. Some cardamom maybe, and i taste clove with a big sip.

From bottle. Pours black with a one-finger beige head that leaves a good quantity of lacing on the glass. Rich coffee aroma with a bit of vanilla on the nose. Taste is coffee and plenty of roasted malts. Neither sweet nor bitter, this is dry and has a dry finish. Medium full mouthfeel.

Pours thick and black, with a small brown head. Nose is coffee, roasted malts, vanilla. Taste gets the same, and booze, boozy beer. Malty, with sweetness and bitterness quite balanced, some hops. Medium body with low carbonation. Pretty decent sipping ale.

(bottle) clear, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of roast, hint of stewed fruit, tobacco; smooth palate; balanced flavour with a long, medium bitter finish

Pitch black color with mocha head. Aroma has chocolate and some sweet spices. I get vanilla, cloves, cinnamon and some liquor. Taste starts sweet and slightly boozy. Finishes bitter and roasty, lingering in the aftertaste. I also get some hops in the aftertaste. Body is heavy and has medium carbonation. Quite good overall, just slightly boozy for my taste.

Pours a one finger brown head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Black color, no highlights. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Coffee and chocolate nose and flavor is baked chocolate with some malty sweetness. Higher ABV is hidden. $3.80 for a 12oz bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me.

Bottle. Black oily pour, nice. Aroma of creamy milk chocolate, mild roast and mocha. Nice taste of mocha coffee, mild licorice, cream, bitters, subtle spices and some cacao. Mildly boozy. This is good stuff.

Bottle. My plans of having this on Christmas Eve did not work out, oh well. Inky black with decent sized foamy tan head, roasted malt aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish mocha taste with significant roasted malt towards the end, full body, oily texture, faint alcohol undertones, long mocha finish. Incredibly fulfilling.

Aroma: very sweet, fruity, full of black currant, grapes even red apple juicy notes. A touch of coffee and chocolate in the back. It’s very pleasant aroma, but very unusual for an imperial stout. Appearance: pitch black, non-transparent, poor quality brown head, nice lacing. Taste: not SO fruity, but still a bit. Much more coffee and chocolate flavours. It reminds me of bonbons with sherry liquor in them. It’s half dry. Calm and pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. Palate: medium, half full body, perfectly carbonated, alcohol very well covered, warms only from the inside. Overall: I like it. It’s not mind blowing like Imperial Biscotti Break obviously, but still really good, worth trying Imperial Stout.
