Thanks to Fonefan.
This one gushed but not in the way that much beer was lost, it gushed a snake of foam. 3 glasses full and the foam kept coming!
After a while, when the airy brown foam disappeared, a deep dirty brown beer appeared.
Smell hops, coffee, hints of liquorice, spices, toffee, a a slight hint of earth.
Taste is a nice mix of coffee, wood, alcohol, whiskey, liquorice, grass, herbs, dark fruits, raisin, fresh, roasted malts, light bitter, brown sugars and a touch of dryness.
Very nice coffee grass aftertaste.
After the foam disappears the beer had low carbo, a full body and a soft light dry mouthfeel. Watery texture.

Gushing to two glasses of dark greige foam, lasting annoyingly long and leading eventually to an ultimately dark brown beer. Dark chocolate or chocolate sauce, roasted aromas; hops, bark & undergrowth. Nice, because not too overpowering. Roasted, again chocolate (maybe a bit burned -sauce); bitterish and spicy, but with massive maltpresence underneath. Bit unidimensional, not really complex. Very well-bodied, oily, filling, and of course the impressive head with serious carbonation. Quite OK, but there’s better I.S. around.

Bottle. Almost black and opague. Pours a huge head. Dried red fruit and licorice in the aroma. Malty alcoholic flavor with roast, pipe tobacco, ash and licorice. Pipe tobacco in the finish. Maybe just a bit out of control, still delicious.

from erzbierschof.ch - dark black beer under a giant very foamy dark beige head; roasted coffeish aroma with notes of vanilla; overcarbonated; and hugely sweet, a solid bitterness soon takes the control producing a confusing dichotomy; thick and oily, full-bodied; a long coffeish and slightly chocolatey roasted and fairly hoppy finish with warming alcohol notes

Shared with Evil stepdad on Christmas eve. Dark brown look with a frothing brown head. Mainly hop aroma with lots of citrus backed up by roasted chocolate. Nice bitter roasted malt flavor with a sweet chocolate touch and a good amount of alchohol. Too carbonated though
