COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Black with big and lasting brown head. Far too high carbonation sent it gushing out. Aroma is hard roasted malt, dusty, spicy and light hoppy. It has a dry and rather rough bitter finish with notes of alcohol. 120111

Bottle, 33 cl. Unreadable lable. Crown came off with an almost explosive force, and 1/4 of bottle gushed out. Too much carbonation!! Murky appearance. Aroma is nice dark roasted, chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, bit yeasty. Taste is more rough, good sweetnes and roasted/burnt but too yeasty.

Bottled. A black beer with a huge lazing dark brown beer. The aroma has strong notes of chocolate, alcohol, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chocolate, alcohol, chocolate, and roasted malt, as well as some spices coming late, leading to a very dry finish, where both the alcohol, roasted malt, and hops. The alcohol tickles the palate.

It’s pitch-black with a huge, rather lively, but yet creamy head. The aroma has notes of hard-roasted malt, burnt coffee, bitter dark chocolate and a little dark fruits. The flavour has a light sweetness and a roasted bitterness. It has notes of hard-roasted malt, a hint of ashes, bitter coffee and chocolate and a little fruit. The finish is dry and bitter, and a little too raw for my liking. It has extremely much yeast in the bottle.

Bottle @ Hj Hansen, Odense. Pours black with a large fluffy brown head. Nose is roast, liquorice and spices. Dry and hard roasted flavor with coffee bean, liquorice hops and spices. A bit too lively carbonation. Very dry and bitter end. Nice.

Bottle. Heavily gushing tan bubbly pour turning into a pitch black bodied beer with a medium tan head. Hard roasted malt, cocoa, chocolate, some coffee and light chili notes on the nose. Quite burning alcoholic flavour with notes of hard roasted malt, chili, hops, dark fruit and light coffee. Hits you right in the face. Long boozy roasted finish.

Bottled 50cl. Ordered from www.erzbierschof.ch. Huge slightly gushing beer with a dark beige head. Minty nose which is mainly reminiscent of roasted malt. Too much carbonation to my liking. Not bad.
