4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Reimer96 (594) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 18, 2013
Pours a cloudy reddish amber with a small frothy tan head. Aroma od sweet fruits like red apples, sweet caramel malts, floral notes and faint citrus hops. Taste is bready malts, red apples, kiwi after taste and then a very nice complex blends of the bitter hops and alcohol warming that’s created from the high carbonation. Again it finishes nice and dry from the wine barrel aging.

Pours a hazy copper with a reddish tinge and a consistent small white head that lasts through the beer. Aroma some sweet fruit(mainly apples), some darker malty notes, and red wine notes. Flavour is sweet malt, some fruit, medium grassy bitterness, slight alcohol warming, and a dry finish. Really well balanced beer, can’t hardly tell it’s such a big beer and props for the vision and creativity evil twin has.

(11.2oz bottle) Purchased at Hillside Liquors. Pours a lasting frothy white head atop a brown, cloudy body. Great hoppy bitterness and mildly roasted malt. Great mouthfeel though a tad tonic, good hop flavour and a red Irish malt base. Very interesting - you'd never know the ABV.
