UPDATED: NOV 23, 2011 New batch on tap. Aroma has lots of juicy tropical hops. Pineapple, mango, passion fruit, grapefruit, peach, citrus, you get some of the white wine and some pine. Taste is more of a crispy hop quality, still some tropical notes, citrus, peach, grapefruit, pine and white wine.

This one was a gusher. Pours amber with a large head. Aroma is strong on malts, caramel, bready, hops, hint of apple, candy, slight citrus. Taste is astringent, hoppy, chardonnay sweetness, strong malt profile, caramel, bread. Strong, powerful body, too malty and heavy malty for an IIPA. Chardonnay doesn’t play well in this beer. Carbonation is high, almost excessive.
