Bottle @ 2nd tuesday tasting. Aroma is sweaty hops, some yeast. Donít like the aroma. Flavour is way better, big hops, nice balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Fruity notes. Nice.

Bottle at the March 2014 De Molen monthly tasting. Poured a clear medium to light amber with a bubbly white head and some broken lace. The aroma is strong woody hop resin. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a smooth wood hop light bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. For a 10.5% ABV beer, I couldn;t tell where the alcohol was. It was really super smooth and well balanced. I should buy some of this stuff for my cellar!

2014-03-07. Hazy dark orange amber body with a modest off white head. Aroma is quite interesting, fruity, orange, tropical fruit notes. Flavour is pleasantly bitter, pithy bitter orange and tangerine. Average bodied palate, pleasant soft carbonation. Pretty nice. Bottle several months old but doesnít necessarily show it. Hazy amber with a cream head. Nose is wood, light hops, vinous, and funky. Lively palate, wine, yeast, wood, light hop, bubbly finish.

Iím huge fan of IPAs and of evil twinís beers but found this one a little disappointing. Itís bitter and a little grassy from the hops, quite yeasty and raw. Iíll have another and maybe like it better the second time around.

Bottle, shit man lots of white fizzy foam (10 min later) dark amber red pour. Malty aroma, a touch of the wine barrel but I only pick up on it because I know its aged in one, pine, some oxidation (old bottle), mild hops. Taste, mild hops up front, a bit sweet and then wham it drops off a cliff real quick, fairly oxidized, still not bad though.

I think they call this Disco Beer because you have to quickly dance over to the sink to avoid making a mess. POUR WITH CAUTION. Pours hazy amber with a huge off white head. Good lacing and retention. Aroma is complex, with bread and caramel sweetness, but more prominent pine tree and citrus notes. Also getting a bit of darker fruits, and some chardonnay from the aging. The taste starts off slightly sweet but switches to bitter rather quickly. Has flavors similar to the aromas, but also a little bit of a spicy background. Good mouthfeel, rich and velvety. Delicious.

330ml bottle. Cloudy copper color. Beer is so excited over seeing me that it cums. Ice cream like coney head. Raw malts, metallic, tin in aroma. Smells weird. Fizzy mouthfeel. Mild alcohol, sugars, sweet, malty, caramel in taste. Messy and unbalanced.

Pours with a huge off-red head that is quite overflowing and difficult to pour. Looks dark amber. Taste is almost like having a sip of apple cider - or some fermented apple juice. Sweet, wine-like, yo can feel this is barrel aged. Some bitter hops controlling the finish and dry bitterness lingers on for a long. Massive beer, putting up a merry disco-party in your mouth. This party has has some sweet - but full of tannins aftertaste.
