330ml brown bottle. Gold-orange in colour, clear. Very foamy head with loose and large bubbles, takes a while to settle. Nose has assorted citrus hops, sweet, fruity. Taste is fruity, orange peels, some alcohol. Aftertaste has graefruity hops, pretty sharp, alcohol lingers. A bit rough, a bit messy, was looking forward to this but it did not deliver.

Pours a dirty golden brown with a small off white top. Aroma is pine resinous hop bitterness with dry oak characteristics. Taste is a bold, piney resinous hop bitterness with dry oak and vinous.

On tap at Craft Beer Co. Pour is deep amber with a large frothy tan head. Aroma and flavor of heavy fruit, hop bitterness, caramel, oak, grape vine, and sweet malt. Finish is bitter with a touch of wine. Interesting.

Pours clear medium amber with four fingers of uncontrollable tan head, heavy chunky lacing. (4/5) Nose is red berries, lemon peel, vinous grapes, woody oak, earthy. (8/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (8/10) Medium and slightly oily body, high carbonation, boozy and surprisingly crisp finish. (4/5) Now that’s an interesting D/IPA - really pleasant vinous notes dominate, and the mouth feel is light and crisp. I was sort of starting to get a little tired of over-the-top DIPA’s that only ended up being malt-forward (Stone Enjoy By 02.14.15 excepted, OMG what a beer), but this? This I like. (16/20)

1.2.2014. Tuoksussa lempeää humalaa ja metsää. Maussa ensin tuntuu voimakas hiilihapotus, myös alkoholi pistää hieman läpi. Muuten varsin ok dipa, katkeroa ja mallasta maistuu. Tuoksun lempeys hieman puuttuu. Hieman liian hapokas ja alkoholinmakuinen dipa.

Complex aroma of ripe fruits, tart fruits, zesty lemon, grapes, oak, hops. Flavour is light sweet and moderate tart, with a light bitter dry finish. Somewhere between a tart Imperial IPA and a hoppy Barley Wine. I like it!

It’s dark amber with a creamy and lasting head. The aroma is lovely rich fruity and hoppy. The mouth feel is oily. The flavor has a moderate sweetness and a nice bitterness and notes of ripe fruits, alcohol, caramel and the finish is bitter and very long lasting with flavors developing.

Bottle picked up from somewhere (probably shop in Harlaam) consumed at home Thursday 23rd October 2014. Pours dark amber, murky appearance with a white head occasionally sticky. Aroma is a little vinous, fruity but an oomph on nose. Soft in mouth, really soft and a creamy texture with a real winey twang and fruity, zappy back end. A little warmth. I like the way that a potentially big IPA has been slapped back down by good BA. A8 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Bottle at home. Murky orange pour, foamy white head. Aroma is a bit funky, dusty cellar, sweaty socks, grassy, a little bit of vinegar and strong wine. Flavor is quite bitter, slightly sweet, a bit spicy and very messy. Interesting concept, but not really something for me.

Bottled. Hazy light amber copper color, huge off-whitehead. Vinous nose. Aroma is fruity, vinous, with some soft sweet malts. Wine is dominated over hops in the finish. I think this BA concept is a dead-end.
