Bottle from Market of Choice, Eugene. A really weird idea but came off fairly well. Pours a cloudy golden tan, LOTS of head. Aroma has faint notes of yeast and spice. Yeast dominant flavor, very smooth and complex, barrels, no hops, now yeast. A lot going on here, but very smooth overall, warming is only a hint in the finish; the hops are very shy, the barrels less so. A really big beer, definitely worth exploring just for something different.

It’s dark amber with a creamy and lasting head. The aroma is lovely rich fruity and hoppy. The mouth feel is oily. The flavor has a moderate sweetness and a nice bitterness and notes of ripe fruits, alcohol, caramel and the finish is bitter and very long lasting with flavors developing.

Bottle picked up from somewhere (probably shop in Harlaam) consumed at home Thursday 23rd October 2014. Pours dark amber, murky appearance with a white head occasionally sticky. Aroma is a little vinous, fruity but an oomph on nose. Soft in mouth, really soft and a creamy texture with a real winey twang and fruity, zappy back end. A little warmth. I like the way that a potentially big IPA has been slapped back down by good BA. A8 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Bottle at home. Murky orange pour, foamy white head. Aroma is a bit funky, dusty cellar, sweaty socks, grassy, a little bit of vinegar and strong wine. Flavor is quite bitter, slightly sweet, a bit spicy and very messy. Interesting concept, but not really something for me.

Bottled. Hazy light amber copper color, huge off-whitehead. Vinous nose. Aroma is fruity, vinous, with some soft sweet malts. Wine is dominated over hops in the finish. I think this BA concept is a dead-end.

Vinøs humleduft med noget karamelduft eller også er det fordi den er lidt gammel. Egetræ. Den er ret sød. Mere en triple IPA end en double fordi den er sød og stærk mere end rund og bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"Evil twin continues to stretch their wings. Didn’t know what this even was when I bought it, just that it was evil twin and 10.5%. Turns out its a rather dark, sweet, fruity and earthy iipa. A little spice in their too and abounding bitterness. The aroma especially with the aging in Chardonnay barrels was just plain fantastic. Great mix of citrus and grape. Soft and woodsy, shows a little alcohol but otherwise great."

33cl bottle @ home from De Molen. Body is hazy rusty amber, Head is medium, off-white, creamy, fully lasting, fair lacing. Nose is rubber and caramel, Aroma is more caramel, licorice, light syrup, steamed vegetables, herbs, floral, yeast, dish soap, moderated roasted malt, strange hops, milk chocolate. Alcohol is slightly noticable, mostly in the throat and stomach. Taste medium sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness, lightly sour. Full body, soapy texture, soft carbonation. Finish is medium lasting yeasty bitter with moderated fruity sweetness. Not so easy to drink, light dessert beer, very unique.

Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, white wine, earthy, light citrus. Hoppy flavour, white wine, tropical fruits. Malty finish, hops, white wine, somewhat reminding of pediococcus.
