Tap (O’Hara’s, Tampere)
Odd sewery aroma for me. Peach for Anna. Taste is less messed up, a pretty standard pale ale composition. Dryish, attenuation good, and decently bitter, but to be honest so terribly dull after the Southern Tier. These numbers are probably an underrate, but I really am feeling uninspired by this brew. Shame about the first impressions.

Bottled. Pours clear amber with an average sized off-whitr head with fair lacing. Nose of citrus, grapefruit and caramel. Sweet flavor with caramel, citrus and piny notes. Medium bodied, creamy texture and soft carbonation. A very nice and smooth APA.

04-MAY-2012, bottle @home, from "Fish & Beer". Golden/orange with beige head that laces. Hoppy bitter with grape fruit and pine. Very fresh, a touch of sweetness. I cannot tell this from the other hipsters. Are all hipsters the same?? Fine brew.

Bottle. Dark golden, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some tropical fruitiness with light grapefruit and piney hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, light caramel, some tropical fruitiness with grapefruit and piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, faint caramel and light fruitiness, some sharp piney hoppyness. Sweetish and fruity APA - OK hoppyness, but in the finish hoppyness gets bit sharp/soapy.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours golden amber with a big off-white head that fades quickly and leaves no lacing. Aroma is caramel malt as well as fruity and citrusy hops. Taste is sweet malt and fruity hops. More malt on the aroma and more bitterness in the finish than Istedgade.

laiti (1689) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 1, 2012
Draught @ O’Hara’s Freehouse
Aroma is slightly sweet, fruity and hoppy with apricot. Flavour is refreshing and hoppy with apricot, some gooseberry bush, resin, hints of pea soup and vegetables. Sweetish finish. Good and refreshing, although the vegetable savors disturb me a bit.
