COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and most crucial of all – it must taste rare!

Pours black as midnight, and has a brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, dark coffee, raisin. Some other flavors come in like caramel, and raisin. This is a very dark beer and has a definite alcohol presence. It hits you hard. There is a lot of jesus in this bottle! Over all I would recommend it.

Fantastico!

Pours dark with a defined mocha foam head. The aroma is of cocoa, semi sweet malts, toasted malts, dark chocolate, soft levels of dark roasted coffee, some booze, mild vanilla, with tobacco aromas, and prune or date fruit scents. The flavor is complex leading off with a fruity date taste, followed with potent sweet roasted malts, soft bitter espresso flavor, minor vanilla, and booze. Overall this brew was different but still enjoyable. The booze was hidden nicely.

Bomber. Pours pitch black with a chocolaty brown head that lingers. Aroma is dark chocolate, dark coffee, raisin, date, brown bread. Some caramel, licorice and raisin up front, but flavor is dominated by unsweet chocolate, dark roast coffee.

22 ounce bottle into snifter, no bottle dating. Pours super dense pitch black color with a 2 finger dense dark brown head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, roasted malt, fudge, dark bread, raisin, prune, licorice, tobacco, smoke, light char, and smoke/roasted earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of deep and intense dark/roasted malt and fruity/earthy notes; with great strength. Taste of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, fudge, roasted malt, dark bread, raisin, prune, licorice, tobacco, smoke, light char, and smoke/roasted earthiness. Fair amount of roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, fudge, roast, dark bread, raisin, prune, licorice, tobacco, smoke, light char, and roast/smoke earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity and intense robustness of dark/roasted malt and fruity/earthy flavors; with a great roasted bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and extremely full bodied; with a very thick, creamy, slick, and lightly chalky mouthfeel that is incredible. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a world class imperial stout. All around insane complexity and balance of dark/roasted malt and fruity/earthy flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. An absolutely amazing offering.

The beer is near black and viscous with an inch of thick, beige head. The aroma brings bitter, dark, and milk chocolates, roast, vanilla, coffee beans, espresso grounds. Thick, palate coating. Rich and lovely. A delightful stout to sip and savor. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, finishing with a gentle warming heat and some bitter chocolate notes. Very nicely done.
