COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and most crucial of all – it must taste rare!

Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing fluffy brown head. Pitch black body. Powerful sweet and sugary choccolate coffee aroma plus a hint of alcohol. Hard roasted barley malt creamy coffee choccolate dried fruigt flavor and a fair amount of hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Long bitter sweet finish.

Bottle: Thanks, Kevin. Looks like used motor oil; BLACK & thick as hell, only a small, tan ring emerges on the pour. A swirl of the glass brings up a frothy, blackened tan head. Aroma is full of dense, rich fudge, toasted peanut brittle, residual brown sugar, light mallow cream, & decadent layers of chocolate-y type desserts. Smells like a beast. Tastes like one, too. Bitter dark chocolate, fat fudge, hint of espresso, caramelized sugar & residual sweetness, toasted peanuts, & just a kiss of anise in the finish. A thick beer, a huge beer. Powerful body, thick as fuck with a melted milkshake kind of presence. Crazy good imperial stout, lovely stuff all around.

bomber pour-- thick black beer, tan foam-- milk chocolate at first taste with coffee and more complex flavors on the finish, just the right amount of alcohol and bitterness to balance the sweetness... tasted against the doughnut-- tough call to pick the winner--- awesome beer-- so smooth!

This beer pours dark dark with a dark dark awesome looking creamy head. A thick layer that just stays on top. An absolutely delicious looking beer. A huge chocolate taste. All around a chocolate brew. A very smooth milk chocolate flavor bases this thing out. What really makes it and pulls it all together is the alcohol feel at the end. Really balances out the whole beer. Very good stuff.

What a beer. Had a bottle at Hudson street tap house in Bmore. Pour is dark like black with a medium tan to dark tan head. Aroma is robust and fantastic dark chocolate, coffee and rich sugary dessert. A big beer that stays on your palate forever. Every thing you smell you taste what a treat.

Tap at Backcountry. Pours very dark brown with light brown head, settles quickly with minimal to no lacing. Aroma is toasted and roasted malt, chocolate, mildly sweet and fruity booziness. Flavor is toffee, caramel, fairly sweet up front, fading quickly to a roasted, toasted malt, and mildly smoky finish. Finish is mildly fruity, banana as it warms. Not as much going on as Bible Belt Jesus or Prairie Bomb, a fairly standard imperial stout. Lowest in alcohol of the three, yet manages to be booziest. Alcohol seems a bit higher than the flavor and body can support. Soft carbonation, medium body, fairly smooth texture.

Tap @ Little Delirium Cafe, Yoyogi. Pours pitch black with a nice frothy head. Flows slowly in my glass. This is not really a beer, or at least it doesn’t feel like a beer. It feels like some sort of liquor, with very strong notes of liquorice, molasses, sweet caramel candy, dark dried fruits, plums and cherries. Chocolate and coffee. Warming alcohol. Much more than I expected.

Bottle. Pours black with chocolatey brown head. Aroma is chocolate, bitter and coffe. Taste is more of the same, quite bitter, really solid chocolate. Somewhat boozy.
