What makes a great leader? First of all a perfectly balanced blend of qualities, the ability to stand out,be authoritative without overpowering. Sho courage and endurance, you will lead the way and set the standards. Very important, be appealing and refreshing to the people. This stereotypical portrait applies whether referring to politics, religion or maybe even this outstanding IPA. -Evil Twin

Light orange body loads of lacing. Kind of bends toward the hoppy pilsener rather than IPA realm. Still flavour and nice.

barnyard, hop aroma. decent head with no lacing. pale, hazy, look about it. sparkling with lots of precipants rolling around inthere. very bitter, mouth coating and somewhat rubbery. evolves from a slight fruity thing into this nasty nellie bitterness. not impressed. does not hide alky too well, lets you know its a kick in the jaw. goes astringent in teh finish then hangs around awhile letting you knw that you just finished a somewhat rude beer. decent amount of co2 makes it almost drinkable.

Good solid body but Alc. Can be tasted, perhaps a bit too strong. Okay ipa but the twin can do much more evil than this

12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Surprisingly bright golden with a fair white head. Aroma: Richly fruity and sweet with slightly eucalyptus/medicinal notes, berries, thick tropical fruits, a bit dusty/musty and moderate sulphur on re-examination. Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation, a bit astringent (not in a bad way). Flav.: Resinous, lightly peppery, still has a thick tropical fruit character, sweet light malts, a bit of eucalyptus, yup...a little sulphur; off-dry with fairly full bitterness and a long, resinous. peppercorn and resin finish.

Certainly different. Has some nice characteristics. Not entirely successful for my palate.
