What makes a great leader? First of all a perfectly balanced blend of qualities, the ability to stand out,be authoritative without overpowering. Sho courage and endurance, you will lead the way and set the standards. Very important, be appealing and refreshing to the people. This stereotypical portrait applies whether referring to politics, religion or maybe even this outstanding IPA. -Evil Twin

Hazy pale peach gold pour with a thin, fluffy, soapy off white head. Aroma of citrus, stone fruit, floral and tropical fruit hops, some biscuit and toasty notes. Flavor is biscuit, cereal, sweet malt and hay on the malt side; floral, spicy, citrus and passion fruit on the hop side. medium body, slightly oily, creamy entry leading to a chalky + oily = slightly dry finish and a medium strength, sharp and blanketing carbonation. Good stuff overall, the aroma really wrote a check that the taste couldn’t cash, and after a couple drinks the aroma seemed much less amazing for some reason.

Bottle: Clear gold color with a white fizzy head and sticky lacing. A bit funky aroma, almost Belgianish with some skunk. Sharp flavors. Finish is thin. Points for interesting, but not my favorite.

Golden yellow pour with fluffy white head and lacing. Grass, lemon, floral hop spice, muted citrus in the nose. Flavor is kinda dry, hops are are highlighted, malts are typical IPA-like.

Really good. Clear yellowish. Smooth. Not too strong or bitter. Some grapefruit but not too much. Fruity.

Blonde légèremement cuivrée aux reflets, limpide.Mousse bien blanche.

US rating #200 Tap @ BierCab, Barcelona, 21/06/15, thanks tstm. Pours a hale golden yellow with a decent, white head. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, passionfruit, taste follows along the same lines. Low carbonation fairly full.

what i like to call a ’bitter bitch’. a term which could apply to any evil twin beer I’ve tried (some even more so than this). drying and piney with a dankness that is quite satisfying but overall the beer lacks in both fruitiness and body. Relatively light malt base but big hop presence. decent length and perfect carbonation. almost like a lager thats been hopped to another dimension. not even a hint of sweetness (in my book a good thing). definitely refreshing. good beer.

Keg @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 25-06-2015.
In short: straight ipa.
Pours little hazy golden with frithy white head. Moderate head retention, good lacing. Malty, grassy, caramel nose. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is quite bitter, grasy, some caramel. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Enjoyable.

Bottle picked up at Elevated in South Minneapolis. Intrigued by the potential of this IPA based on previous Evil Twin efforts. Pours a slightly unfiltered straw golden with a tinge of orange. Plenty of frothy white head that sticks around for a good length of time. The aroma is in full effect with the citrus and hops running the show. The taste is reminiscent of a standard IPA but brings a bit more sweetness to the equation...like pineapple. The floral, resiny hop characteristics are definitely present with the finish taking its lead from these primary elements. Refreshing. A recommended IPA option that refrains from taking the cookie cutter approach a lot of other breweries seem to attempt. Good work.

Boa IPA,faz jus a fama.
