What makes a great leader? First of all a perfectly balanced blend of qualities, the ability to stand out,be authoritative without overpowering. Sho courage and endurance, you will lead the way and set the standards. Very important, be appealing and refreshing to the people. This stereotypical portrait applies whether referring to politics, religion or maybe even this outstanding IPA. -Evil Twin

Hazy pale peach gold pour with a thin, fluffy, soapy off white head. Aroma of citrus, stone fruit, floral and tropical fruit hops, some biscuit and toasty notes. Flavor is biscuit, cereal, sweet malt and hay on the malt side; floral, spicy, citrus and passion fruit on the hop side. medium body, slightly oily, creamy entry leading to a chalky + oily = slightly dry finish and a medium strength, sharp and blanketing carbonation. Good stuff overall, the aroma really wrote a check that the taste couldn’t cash, and after a couple drinks the aroma seemed much less amazing for some reason.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a tight white head that fades to a wispy film and collar. Aroma is sweet caramel yeast and dull hops that have faint citrus, but mainly herbal qualities. Taste is bitter sweet caramel herbal malt and hops with some yeast and soft citrus. This is past its prime.

From bottle. Pours gold, hazy with medium white head. Aroma of citrus, grass, alcohol. Taste grass, pine, earth, pineapple in background.

Poured from a bottle. Not as bad an aroma as my neighbors led me to believe. Citrusy and crisp.

Poured from a bottle. Clear golden color, medium white head. Musky wet blanket aroma. Medium body with a soft malt and hops flavor and a clean finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An unusual aroma of DEET, with note of honey and resin. Pours a pale gold color with small white head. Dry chalky feel, light bodied bitter with note of resin. A bitter sweet caramel finish.

1 pint can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR $2.99 Pours a lighter golden colour with a very large creamy thick white head. Aroma is rather subdued ( old can?), but what i get is floral hop..maybe some syrup. Taste is certainly hop forward and bitter but hard to discern tastes..again syrupy sweetness. NOt bad but not impressive. Mouth feel on this one is actually nice..its medium carbonated and moves over the tongue..but again too much sweetness. An average IPA..no idea why so highly rated

All hops, very little malt. Good aroma, didn’t head up much on pour. Great IPA if you like hoppy nd minimal malt balance. Solid IPA

slightly grainy malt profile highlights the herbal/floral qualities of the hops. finishes a touch bitter and yet a touch sweet as well. Very nicely crafted "balanced" IPA.

I was getting almost overpowering amounts of jasmine/jasmine tea on both the nose and flavors with this. Is there jasmine in this? Mildly sweet, mildly aromatic IPA flavors transitioned into light, floral jasmine, then into a bitterness like oversteeped jasmine tea. Still quite pleasant, and a unique take on a hoppy IPA, definitely worth trying out.

12 oz. Clear golden with a thin film of cream. Nose is resin, caramel and citrus. Tastes of resin, caramel, toast and citrus zest. Light-medium body has a nice balance that becomes a bit too dry by the end of the bottle and has a little too much fizz. Typical American IPA, but it’s well executed and pretty drinkable.
