Draft pour from the Busy Bee. Surprisingly light golden pour with a white head. Nose of grassy hops and bitter grapefruit. Taste is quite bitter. Sharp, yet still refreshing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly hazy golden with a thick foamy off white head. Nose of musty earthy hops with a piney twang and a bit of grapefruit zest, and citrusy soil...just a very earthy hop aroma. Flavor is big and full with a sharp bitter start, calming down into a pine resin and earthy grapefruit flavor, backed by a pale dusty malt body that only provides just enough sweetness to not make this a hop bomb. Lasting hop acidity throughout, though not as much as a Stone beer. It’s decent, but this is the kind of IPA that scares off craft n00bs, or people in general who don’t like IPAs and this is what would keep them away forever.

The aroma and the taste are really fresh. That’s the first thing that comes to mind. The palate is maybe a little fuller than average. All in all, a good IPA, but nothing too extreme.

Ananas, litchi, un peu de pamplemousse, une amertume herbacée qui reste bien en bouche avec une attaque assez douce. Couleur jaune claire, bulles légères. Bref, un petit goût de r’vient z’y.
