To take up the challenge and make a 100% true Brett IPA can very easily become a fatal attraction for the Brewmaster. Once you get acquainted with Nelson Sauvinís fruity and seductive personality, along with Bretts irresistible, overpowering, alluring and very charming nature, it will ensnare you and drive you mad obsessing over how exactly you can create the perfect desirable tangy, funky, crisp, tart flavor in ya mouth.

Sample at wild beer fest. Glad I was limited to the same here because this just did not work for me. Lots of vitamin and medicinal notes in the flavor. Aroma is a little nicer with some aromatics on the nose and some funkiness. Think there is something else going on here. This seems like there some extra yeast in here than just the Brett to give you all that vitamin flavor.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a hazy lighter lemon gold with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells good too; fruity hops with a well-balanced brett presence and a nice, mild malt backbone. Tastes like it smells, but not as fruity, with a medium-bodied semi-dry mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

22oz bottle pours a murky, dark gold with some creamy, white head. Nose has a ton of yuzu, white grape, some soapy hop, some lavender, some honey. Flavor is very soapy, yuzu, a little dusty couch, flower petal, yeast. Creamy finish.

Bottle - Grass and lemon with a nice bit of funk. Cloudy gold with a nice white head. Funky farmhouse notes, some grass and light citrus. Light vegetal notes in the finish with some funk notes. Nice.

Pours clear, somewhat coppery amber with a thick and rather persistent frothy eggshell head. Aroma is more yeasty than hoppy, but still mouth-watering with its malty and sweet fruity undertones that canít wait to get on the inside of a beer loverís mouth. Hops really come out in the flavor, woody with some evergreen and a little bitterness; malty, apple, citrus and subtle yeasty undertones provide support. Firm texture is quite lively and leaves a hoppy, fruity and slightly yeasty finish. Seductive!

Bottled. Yellowish orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, nectary and quite sweet, but also has some nice farmyardy funk to it. Flavour is famyard, some nice fruity and floral notes along with tropical fruit juice concentrate. Rather mouthdrying finish.

Sampled at the JRHB brett meeting. Poured medium hazed gold. Aroma was a combination of citrus grapefruit and lemon along with a considerable funk. Flavor matched. Unfortunately, the two fought like cats and dogs to be the most interesting and obvious part of the profile. The hops and brett didnít play nice here. I rarely like these hoppy brett beers, and this was no exception. Well executed by the brewer, just not my thing.

Definitely one of the more unique beers I have had. An interesting combination of Nelson Sauvin hops and mild Brett flavors that I think come together well. Not something I would come back to right away, but unique, drinkable and enjoyable.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, hazy golden yellow pour with white head, aroma brought big fruit notes with pineapple, grapefruit, white grape, some peach into a bit of biscuit, bread, some slight funky notes, nice orange peel as well with a hint of grass. Taste was fruity hop forward, with pineapple, grapefruit, mango into some white grape, peach, touch of funky earth into some herbal, grassy hops, very slight biscuit, finishing bitter, pretty dry.
