3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not sure I really approve of Brett yeast in an IPA, but this isn’t a bad combination. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with thick, pillowy head. Aroma is marked by fruit esters, sort of like a wheat beer, with some spicy Brett funk in there as well. Flavor is hops--some citrus and some pine--with the distinctive Brett flavor--the tang and the tartness. Well-balanced, unlike some of these that overdo it on the Brett; this is pretty well combined.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle shared by jean-michaël, thanks dawg. pours hazy pale golden with a tall frothy off-white head demonstrating an examplary retention and lacing. honeyed and doughy pale maltiness, catty and citrusy, very fryuity - danky fruitiness - quality white grape juice, canned peaches in light syrup, chewy resins. moderate carbonation, light body - oily and relatively thick for an all-brett, dry, clean and sharp grassy-tropical-citrusy finish. balanced and tasty. non-struggling clean brett.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared by Jean-Michael, thanks dude! Pours a clear golden with a medium white head that leaves great lacing. Not sure why it isn’t a 5, maybe it didn’t glow in the dark! ;) Anyway, nose offer some soft candy (think like some cotton candy maybe) but also some nice fruit juice and a really nice hoppy background. Taste is indeed fruity, moderately bitter and overall really well balanced. Mouthfeel was lightly juicy and carbonation level medium. Great!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours lightly hazy bright gold color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pineapple, tangerine, melon, white grape, passion fruit, orange peel, clove, pepper, floral, grass, light pine, and floral/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright hops and moderate fruity/spicy brett notes; with good strength. Taste of pineapple, tangerine, white grape, passion fruit, melon, orange peel, clove, pepper, floral, grass, pine, and grass/yeast earthiness. Good amount of pine bitterness and peppery yeast on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, tangerine, melon, white grape, passion fruit, orange peel, clove, pepper, floral, grass, pine, and grass/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of bright hops and fruity/spicy brett flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Brett IPA. All around great complexity and balance of bright hops and fruity/spicy brett flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, from, hmmm, I forget. Ok aroma, sweet, white wine/grape, little funk. Opening up as it warms, Not strong scent, but fun. Clean orangey gold color’ good head, but kind of big and foamy, minor clinging lace, sweet flavor. Medium body, creamy oily mouthfeel, dry sweet finish. I like the play with the hops and Brett, but aroma is not particularly strong, Brett on finish. It’s fine,

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a dull dark orange color with a very thick foamy head. As the head settles it leaves a spiderweb lacing and a chunky gathering of foam stay on top. A small citrus hop aroma. Light and crisp yet very flavorful. A somewhat funky somewhat tart flavor hits first. With a tropical citrus feel. A big orange note. A very distinct funky hop flavor washes it all down. Very biscuity and malty. Leaves a certain bitterness in your mouth that seems a little off, which intensifies as the beer warms. Very refreshing. Good beer for a hot summer day.

Really bretty IPA. Hop character was muted which is disappointing because I love Nelson Sauvin.
