COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
To take up the challenge and make a 100% true Brett IPA can very easily become a fatal attraction for the Brewmaster. Once you get acquainted with Nelson Sauvin’s fruity and seductive personality, along with Bretts irresistible, overpowering, alluring and very charming nature, it will ensnare you and drive you mad obsessing over how exactly you can create the perfect desirable tangy, funky, crisp, tart flavor in ya mouth.

Bottle mat home. Pours hazy orange yellow with frothy head. Nose is wonderful citrus goodness. Tastes of peach, Yuzu, white wine, grapefruit, oak, bready and Brett. Drying finish and a real lip smacker to boot.

Great beer. Nelson Sauvin is really growing on me and the tangy grapefruit taste is pronounced here. Thankfully not too much funkiness from the Brett. Not enough to call it a Belgian IPA in my mind. As always from evil twin, very smooth.

Bottle: Served in a Duvel glass: Medium to bigger sized white foamy head on top of a hazy to murky yellow colored beer. Aroma is quite strange. A mix of tea herbs, ice tea, manure, nettle and some yeast. Flavours of nettle, herbs, ice tea, bitters, flowers, soap, yeast, light hop and light citrus and some hints of light apricot and plant tones. Aftertaste is planty, grassy, some bitters, some yeast, herbal and some ice tea. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture. Not what I expected. Loads of herbs, tea tones and yeast...

Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with fluffy off-white head that leaves light lace. Aroma is spicy zest of new world hops with a nice underlying brett funk. Taste follows, garlic and earthy with a slight bitterness. Clean and easy to drink, yes, good stuff.

Bottle shared at Proof. Slightly hazy golden pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma of Brett funk, slight pizza shop, fruitiness, lemongrass and citrus. Smooth fruit flavor, sherbert, tangerine, lemon peels, pineapple and peach with light malts. Nicely blended and balanced. Solid stuff.

Bomber. Pours a somewhat hazy, pale orangey-gold, big fluffy white head with excellent retention and mad lacing. Nose is Belgiany yeast, citrus, library paste. Mouth is light-medium bodied and dry, lots of citrus (grapefruit and lemon mostly), melon, bready malt, medium bitterness, easy drinking IPA from ET. Nice. Phone home. USA! USA!

Tap into half hefe glass. Brassy color, thin white head. Nose full of grapefruit. In the mouth not nearly as stringent add I expected.grapefruit to be sure, but also a curious fruit note - tart Apple crosses with apricot maybe. Very curious. Slightly sticky finish.

Vaalea väri, vaahto pysyy hyvin. Sitruunainen, raikas tuoksu. Humalaisuus tulee hyvin läpi, loppumaissa paljon katkeruutta. Maukas, todella hedelmäinen, mielenkiintoinen ipa.

Keg in CBC Clerkenwell, Meet the Brewer event. My favourite beer of the evening I think. Hazy amber beer with a white medium foamy head. Nose is zingy citrous fruit, white wine vinous, earthy Nelson Sauvin damp basement, light Brett funky, flinty minerally. Taste is nice lemony bitter citrous and tartness, earthy rain on tarmac NS, touch of gooseberry tartness, light brett funk and then rounded of by a lovely white wine vinous crispness.
