Danish: IPA gæret 100% med brettanomyces og humlet med Galaxy, Citra, Summit og Cascade.

English: To take up the challenge and make a 100% true Brett beer can very easily become a fatal attraction for the Brewmaster. Ones you get acquainted with Bretts irresistible, seductive, alluring and very charming nature, it will ensnare you and drive you to the point of obsession to create the desirable tangy, funky, tart flavor in ya mouth.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a cloudy orange yellow colour with a large foamy white head. Aroma of urinal cake, sweet orange and lemon. Some barnyard and pine notes as well after a while, which run over the urinal cake like notes. Flavour of sweet malts, urinal cake, sweet orange, bitter floral hops, caramel and some tartness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Sour, fruity, high bitter finish. Despite the urinal cake this seems to work quite nicely as the bitterness hides the off-flavours a bit.

Bottle, 50 cl. Hazy orange with a mostly lasting frothy white head. Nose is citrussy, bretty, herbal, much like a lively Orval. Taste is medium sweet, herbal, citrussy hops, brett, leading to a bonedry, astringent finish. Refreshing. Well made thirst-quencher. Very funky.

Monk’s Cafe, Philadelphia tap ($8): Pours an orange color with a white head. Aroma is like a garden: floral, grassy, earthy, and a bit non-descript funky. This IPA is hop-heavy, but has an undertone of earthiness and funkiness. I think it might be a little off-balance, but it is still quite good. Good to have this as my first Brett IPA.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2013 Keg at CBC, London. Pours hazy amber with a medium, white foam head. Has quite a floral nose with some brett, yeas and berries. Light to medium sweet flavor, lightly dry and yeasty, with lots of dry and bitter grass, brett, light funk. Medium to full bodied with average, smooth carbonation. Dry, highly bitter to finish with plenty of dry grass, perfumey hops. The grassiness is a touch abrasive. A little bit too bitter in the end, but there is some really nice bretty and yeasty dryness in here. (3.6)

Bottle at a ChrisO Tasting - London. Pours cloudy orange with a big, fluffy white head. Gorgeous nose, all yeast, grass, zesty lemon and poo. Medium sweet flavor with lots of drying yeast, light funk, sturdy grassy bitterness, light doughy malts. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Dry finish, medium sweet but hard to tell from all the crisp brett and yeast, manure, basement musk, horseblanket and grass. Great one. (4.2)

04/05/2012 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Ambrata, torbida, opalescente, schiuma leggera biancastra, poco persistente. Al naso un discreto bouquet fruttato, con note di agrumi e pesca, col tempo emerge anche qualche puzza. In bocca è amara, molto sgraziata, sicuramente particolare ma di non facile beva. Corpo medio, carbonazione abbondante. Una Orval luppolata? A me non mi è piaciuta.
