3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 30, 2016 Bottle. Moderate grain and hay for the malt, light grass and herbs for the hops, moderate barnyard and musty for the yeast, with notes of clove, coriander, pear and pepper. Head is large, frothy, white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is murky medium amber. Flavor starts faintly sweet and moderately to heavily acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, and the texture is hidden by the very fizzy carbonation. Great mix and balance between malt, yeast and hops in this tasty Belgian Ale.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
APPEARANCE- looks bright in my glass, foamy white head, a bit turbid.
NOSE- slightly sour, perhaps like a saison.
FLAVOR- very unique, and indeed funky. Slightly sour, yet has an additional flavor that i can’t put my finger on. That must be the Brett coming through.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I cant really say how old this bottle is, but i figured..hey i like brett so it’ll be ok. It was extremely one dimensional brett bomb. Really lacking anything that could make it an ipa, but maybe that was all gone by now.

Orval clone. Well done. Brett, funky, citrus aroma, dry finish, and slightly tart. Enjoyable beer that I would highly recommend to Orval lovers.

First Brett IPA...and not sure I am a fan.
Very funky and tart.
Used cheap bubblegum after taste....
Glad I tried it - but won’t seek it out again.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Balanced between lemon and grapefruit citrus notes, sourness and funk. Some tartness creeps in late with a hint of barnyard, medium hop presence. A strange but innovative blend.
