COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
To take up the challenge and make a 100% true Brett IPA with Yuzu fruit can very easily become a fatal attraction for the brewmaster. Once you get acquainted with the Yuzu fruits irresistible and seductive personality, along with Bretts overpowering, alluring and very charming nature, it will ensnare you and drive you mad obsessing over how exactly you can create the perfect desirable tangy, funky, crisp, tart flavor in ya mouth.

Clear gold pour. Big white head. Tons of lacing. Very effervescent. Lemon and orange aroma. Taste is citrusy tart and slight yeast.

Rätt nice, ipa. Mycket smak, bra fruktighet, härligt orange och grumlig. Huruvida det beror på yuzufrukten eller bra en bra öl är svårt att bedöma.

Hazy golden body with a gargantuan, sea foam, soapy, white head. Huge, lovely aroma consisting of brettanomyces, tropical fruits. Brett character dominates the flavor. Fruit and citrus rind with grapefruit tartness. Light to medium in body with bitter floral hops in the finish. Hop character is overshadowed to some degree by the dominance of brett. Still, tasty beer.

Bottle and served in snifter: Hazy golden hue with a big initial fluffy head, solid lacework. Yuzu is a big thing now days I guess...So after enjoying PW Yuzu Saison I guess I’ll give this a try. Moderately tart as expected, some spiciness, a bit of wheat and biscuit along with a bit of metallic bitterness. Not much sign of any Brettanomyces weirdness. Sort of like a hopped up Belgian with the spice dialed down a touch.

Pours yelllow with treoendous head making capabilities from bottle. Oh you know it’s got that brett tarty funk with a bit of fruitiness. What’s a yuzu taste like? Oh YU ZU KNOW. Anyway it’s enjoyable.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2015 Light color, beastly white head and lace. Crazy aroma of animal piss, hops, wheat, citrus and funk. Light body, alcohol feel is minimal. Pretty simple formula but it works. Fruit coming through...apples, grapefruit, lemon rind. Good balance though the mouthfeel is mainly acidic hop.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., Villa Park, IL., and snifter served showing a slightly hazed, golden hue, with a finger’s width of silky, soft white head foam that gradually reduced to a thin but solid film, and curtainy/sheet-like lacing that connected to the persistent ring. The aroma was sweetness, grapefruit & tangerine, a hint of lemony barber scent, with a touch of yeasty funk, and slight, malty creaminess to the nose. Medium bodied, with moderate carbonation, the taste continued the esters & funk, added tartness, a moderate, lingering, earthy & rind-like hop bitterness, and some finishing dryness. Nicely done.

This beer is so amazingly good. Probably should’ve rated a 5.0, but my snooter doesn’t work so good. Appearance is a huge, thick, off-white, foamy head, lace, and a clear gold color with lots of bubble trails. Aroma is yeast, lemon, white pepper, grain. Flavor is like aroma, has pronounced carbonic tang, that with the other qualities, just right hops and the touch of Brett, make this sooo good. Palate is spot on. One helluva beer!

pours hazy bright yellow with a small yet reviving white cap, also leaving nice lacing. fragrant lemons, almost perfumey lemon oïl, pineapple, very fruity bretts, doughy lightly spicy maltiness, grass, pepper. lively to average carbonation, light body - oily; balanced minty-grassy-citrusy-lemony finish. totally enjoying this series, so far.

Bottle 660ml. Pours blond with medium-high white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of grain, fruits, yuzu. Taste is of grain, pineapples, bitterness. Palate: Medium body. Soft carbonation. Overall: OK. Interesting pineapple action (bretts).
