To take up the challenge and make a 100% true Brett IPA with Yuzu fruit can very easily become a fatal attraction for the brewmaster. Once you get acquainted with the Yuzu fruits irresistible and seductive personality, along with Bretts overpowering, alluring and very charming nature, it will ensnare you and drive you mad obsessing over how exactly you can create the perfect desirable tangy, funky, crisp, tart flavor in ya mouth.

IPA med bretta är alltid kul å sen klämma i lite Yuzu frukt. Man känner verkligen citrus å grapefrukt extra mycket. Fin IPA med bra yuzu doft å smak i bakmun tillsammans med beskan som mynnar ut fint i eftersmaken. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pale, slightly hazy yellow with a big white head. Aroma of grapefruit hops with a touch of extra citrus. Flavor is like hops with a bit of a sweet undertone. Finishes fairly dry. Wife: 4.1

Cloudy, pale golden. Light white head. Crazy, off the chain fruitiness melon. Some slight pine. Quite bitter, but nicely balanced against some sweetness. Medium body, reasonably effervescent and active. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light yellow orange, light white head. Aroma is clearly yuzu, passionfruit, grass, citrus hop, juicy grapefruit, ridiculous. Flavor is huge fruit juice, orange soda, juicy hop resin. Light / med body, melon festival in my mouth.

On tap. Pours a cloudy yellow amber with a light head. Aromas of lemons, tropical fruit, and toasted malts. Flavors are similar and bright with additional melon and guava notes. Great.

Tap at Republic. Hazy yellow pour with a nice frothy white head. Peaches, pineapple, some cracker. Hops are there but far from bitter. Nice light flavorful easy drinker. Digging this.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a hazy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out fuzzy citrus fruit, hay and mild floral hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of the yuzu coming through, lots of citrus fuzz, floral hops and crackery malt. This is well-made but I’m not digging the flavours. Meh, it’s okay - overrated to me.

Grayed out dandelion yellow pour. Mandarin-like yuzu nose. White tea surrounds the fruit, carrying a lovely gravelly funk with it. Pungent, lightly sour and acidic yuzu, pineapple, citrus hop flavor; clean integration. Plant oils, weed, more white tea; there’s an enjoyable mystique to this, and it becomes quite difficult to compartmentalize the sweet and sour tea and fruit notes. White pepper and a delicate leathery funk emerges gracefully. Fine- bubbled medium body, texturally plush and dry. Weedy, sea mist funk finish. Cool stuff.

650ml bottle. BBE 2015-03-13. Pours hazy amber/golden with a dense, lasting white head. Intensely fruity aroma at first, sweet fruits. Soon goves way to some funky notes, apricots, wood. Flavor has swet fruits, mango, citrus, peaches, lychee. Slight funkyness in the dry, bitter finish. Long lasting finish, fruit salad. Saison/IPA mix with some funk. Works for me. Solid.

Draft. Hazy yellow color, medium white head. Nice aroma of mixed summer fruit. Taste is citrus, apricot, pear, light pine. Tasty.
