4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy gold to amber pour with a 4 finger fluffy off white head. Aroma is loaded with fruity citrus, salted melon and some earthy funk. Flavor is like Belgian IPA meets citrus punch, light cereal, nice, mellow funkiness, a little salinity, tons of grapefruit and sweet tangerine-like sweet orange, finishing with light earthy, soggy wood funk and lingering sweet citrus. Light to medium body with a creamy entry leading to a juicy, but still creamy finish, light, blanketing and slightly sharp carbonation and a lingering mouthfeel somewhere between crisp and slightly chalky, dry. I really enjoyed this one, the best usage of citrus in a beer that I can remember, I really gotta try out one of these yuzu fruits. Unfortunately at $14/bomber, although I really enjoyed this one, I don’t think that I will be likely to purchase again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The beer pours a slightly hazy light yellow color with a huge white head that fades somewhat quickly. The aroma blends in-your-face citrus with undercurrents of grassy hops, yeasty funk, and bready malts. The taste is mildly sour, slightly bitter, and slightly sweet due to the strong citrus flavors and funk. The aftertaste is much mellower than the initial flavor with mostly just barnyard flavors, and the palate fuses a slick texture, average carbonation, and a medium-light body.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rätt nice, ipa. Mycket smak, bra fruktighet, härligt orange och grumlig. Huruvida det beror på yuzufrukten eller bra en bra öl är svårt att bedöma.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden body with a gargantuan, sea foam, soapy, white head. Huge, lovely aroma consisting of brettanomyces, tropical fruits. Brett character dominates the flavor. Fruit and citrus rind with grapefruit tartness. Light to medium in body with bitter floral hops in the finish. Hop character is overshadowed to some degree by the dominance of brett. Still, tasty beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle and served in snifter: Hazy golden hue with a big initial fluffy head, solid lacework. Yuzu is a big thing now days I guess...So after enjoying PW Yuzu Saison I guess I’ll give this a try. Moderately tart as expected, some spiciness, a bit of wheat and biscuit along with a bit of metallic bitterness. Not much sign of any Brettanomyces weirdness. Sort of like a hopped up Belgian with the spice dialed down a touch.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2015 Light color, beastly white head and lace. Crazy aroma of animal piss, hops, wheat, citrus and funk. Light body, alcohol feel is minimal. Pretty simple formula but it works. Fruit coming through...apples, grapefruit, lemon rind. Good balance though the mouthfeel is mainly acidic hop.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., Villa Park, IL., and snifter served showing a slightly hazed, golden hue, with a finger’s width of silky, soft white head foam that gradually reduced to a thin but solid film, and curtainy/sheet-like lacing that connected to the persistent ring. The aroma was sweetness, grapefruit & tangerine, a hint of lemony barber scent, with a touch of yeasty funk, and slight, malty creaminess to the nose. Medium bodied, with moderate carbonation, the taste continued the esters & funk, added tartness, a moderate, lingering, earthy & rind-like hop bitterness, and some finishing dryness. Nicely done.
