Draught pours pitch black small brown head, aroma a hint of smoke, chocolate cake, capsaicin, slight vegetal, vanilla, butterscotch, dusty, herbal notes, motor oil, light cinnamon, taste follows the nose, very smooth, creamy, you get a small chili kick but it is followed by enough sweetness to mellow it out. Great balance

Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Low fluffy white quickly disappearing head. Pitch black body. Aroma of roasted malt cocoa liquorice and vanilla. Flavor of cocoa liquorice roated malt vanilla with a spicy note which I think is chili. Low carbonation. Long spicy hoppy finish. Alcohol well hidden.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph. Pours deep black with a thin, creamy, brown head. Aroma has vanilla, coffee, chocolate, cocoa. Medium carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has chocolate, quite a vinious streak, chili burn, light coffee. Lingering warming bitterness with a soft chili burn.

Black colour, with an almost radiant yellow head. Aroma of malts, roasted malts, vanilla, caramel, somewhat sweet, light bell pepper (paprika). Sweet malty flavour, vanilla, light spicy chili. Quite balanced. Oily body. Finish bell pepper, roasted malts and vanilla.
I really like this one.

Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla and cocoa powder. Chocolate, licorice and green pepper flavour with spicy heat - unlike most chili beers, it’s almost drinkable though

Tap at Borefts, only tried a splash from a friends glass so this will be a short review. Pour was black, no head. Aromas and taste of chocolate, chili, pptpouri, roast malts, and a little sweetness in the finish. Kind of weird but glad I tried.

Black beer with no head.
Smell asparagus, perfume, marzepin, nuts, chocolate, green leaves. Strange smell for an Imperial Stout!
Taste marzepin, cooked vegetables, spices, some roasted barley malts, roasted nuts and a strange bitterness.
Aftertaste of peppers, marzepin, pefume, creamy soft nuts and barley malts.
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium to full body and a creamy texture.
Very strange beer, pretty unbalanced...

Pour black, with a light brown hue, and no head. Aroma is pretty sticky of chocolate. Also slight vanilla, in here, followed by death of chili. This beer sure as hell has a spicy aftertaste. The taste is sweet upfront, with the spiciness. Oily and slightly full bodied, with a semi-flat carbonation. (A whole lot of tingling on the tongue though.

Tap @ Borefts 2012. Dark chocolate and pepper in the aroma. Dark chocolate, roast and pepper in the flavor. The pepper burn gets heavier in the finish, and goes on and on in the aftertaste.
