Draught @ 4th Borefts Beer Festival 2012, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.

Clear dark black brown colour with a virtually none head. Aroma is heavy, chocolate, earthy - chili, vanilla. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy, chocolate, late chili burn. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120928]

From tap at Borefts. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is dense malty and caramelish. Toffee, dense malty and caramelish. Bitter and roasted into a dry finish. Toffee, liqourice and dense malty. Alcohol burn into the finish. Lasting chili burn.

On tap. Pours an opaque black with a small brownish head. Sweet, vanillaish roast aroma. Full-bodied, sweet roast, again vanilla - loads of vanilla. Warming alcohol finish. 211012

Draught at Borefts Bier Festival 2012. Pitch black coloured with a medium sized brown head. Sweet and roasted aroma of caramel, cedar, dark chocolate and honey cake. Sweet and roasted flavour of caramel, pepper and honey cake with notes of dark chocolate. Roasted and peppery finish.

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and vanilla aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with hints of spicy chili. Has a roasted malty chocoalte and vanilla finish.

Draught at Borefts BeerFest 2012. Pitch black - brown head. Honey cookie aroma, fruity, burned, fullbodied, spicy, light chili bite, cocoa, vanilla, sweetness, high malty, toffee notes. Thick body. Lovely.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph. Pours deep black with a thin, creamy, brown head. Aroma has vanilla, coffee, chocolate, cocoa. Medium carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has chocolate, quite a vinious streak, chili burn, light coffee. Lingering warming bitterness with a soft chili burn.

Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla and cocoa powder. Chocolate, licorice and green pepper flavour with spicy heat - unlike most chili beers, it’s almost drinkable though

Tap @ Borefts 2012. Dark chocolate and pepper in the aroma. Dark chocolate, roast and pepper in the flavor. The pepper burn gets heavier in the finish, and goes on and on in the aftertaste.
